Wishing for Wings

*Kylie's point of view*

I looked into the full length mirror thats hanging on my wall, in the room I've grown up in. I look over my long red hair and stare myself in my gray eyes, i glance over my green sweater that matched my laces in my convers, my black skinny jeans hug my thighs as I turn away from my reflection.
" I'm leaving for college today." I mutter to myself as I look around my almost empty room. There was only 2 boxes left and my purse in the room. As I bend over to pick up the boxes my door opens.
"Here let me get that for you, You just grab the little box and meet me at the truck Kay?" Says my bestfriend Harry who is already out of the room. I chuckle to myself and sling my purse over my shoulder and grab the shoebox full of pictures of me and Harry as we're growing up. Im halfway to the truck before I turn around and run back up to my room and grab the black necklace box my moms ex-boyfriend gave me, that was sitting on the shelf. Shoving it into my purse, I run back downstairs and into the passenger seat of Harry's truck. Harry throws me the keys through the open window and I start the truck. The Wanteds "glad you came" comes blasting through the radio, I turned it down as Harry climbed into the drivers seat.
" If I was in a boy band, I would be sooo much better then those people." Harry grumbles nodding his head in the direction of the radio. "Are you sure you don't want to say goodbye to your mom?" He asks me.
"Yah, I'm positive. She's prolly drunk off her ass anyways. I left a note on the counter with my number on it if she is worried about me, which i highly doubt she is." I roll my eyes and Harry pulls out of my driveway.
"Ready for the time of our life Kylie?" He shouts
"Hell Yah" I shout back.
I smile as we pass the sign "you are now leaving Huslers Village please come again soon."
