I scrub the bench top vigorously to calm my nerves my first day at a Holmes Chapel high and I'm freaking out yes I clean when I'm nervous. I turn the radio on 'Hot and Cold' by Katy Perry is finishing awww I love that song I pack my bag and 'Hallelujah' by Alexandra Burke plays I hum along. I yawn as I turn my radio off. I get in my car and take off I keep the roof open I love how the wind blows in my face I imagine it's like flying, my brothers Secondhand Serenade CD plays I sing along to 'A Twist In My Story'

I pull up and cut my engine off I step out my bag slung over my shoulder I lock my car I need the front office I see a nerdy girl I'll ask her.
"Hi, I'm new here can you please tell me where the front office is?" I ask her she narrows her eyes and looks me up and down I shift uncomfortable with her steely gaze.
"Over there." She says pointing to a building about 5 meters away.
"Thanks." I say but shes already turned her back I turn on my heel and walk to the office I yank the door open two boys sit in chairs they stare as I walk up to a skinny old lady behind a computer she looks up.
"Hello can I help you, love?" She asks politely.
"Ah yes I'm new I want pick up my schedule." I say shifting awkwardly since I can feel the boys staring.
"Name and year? " She asks getting her hand ready on the keyboard.
"Um, Ashlynn Lee Harper and I'm in grade 10." I reply in a shaky voice she types away I wish I could clean right now ugh I'm such a loser.
"Here love." The lady says handing me 2 slips of paper a class schedule and a map with locker number and combination.
"Thank you." I say as I take the paper.
"No problem Harry can you please show Miss. Harper around." The asks one of the boys he has curly hair and bright green eyes he stands up.
"Hi." He says simply with an extended hand I take and pump it.
"Hi." I huff as we leave.
"Ashlynn right?" He asks looking over at me.
"Yeah but just call me Ash." I say as head to my locker everyone is staring.
"Well I'm Harry." He says I look at him as we reach my locker.
"Cool but I'm gonna call you Harold." I say entering my code he scrunches his eyebrows and it's actually really cute.
"Your weird." He points out I turn to him and laughing for the first time in weeks since mum, dad and Alex died I just lock my emotions up.
"Oh gee thanks Harold." I wink closing my locker.

Harry POV
(Later that day)
Ash is a great girl she's really sweet but shy she blushes all the time and hates being stared at she sitting in front of me and Will, next to the school perv Jason man that kids a creep poor girl.
"Mr. Styles is the back of Miss. harpers head interesting." Mrs. Helen calls the whole class looks at me I smile as Ash puts her head down that means shes blushing ha.
"Nope I wasn't staring I was day dreaming your a little boring miss." I say the class laughs Mrs. Helen's face goes red.
"Harry go to the principle!" She yells I nod and stand up Ash is still looking down trying to hide her face.
