Good Girl

Jennifer's POV
My mom beat me bloody.Now i have a bruise on my cheek and ton on my arms.I sigh and grab my makeup.I cover it up and get ready for work.

Yes i have two jobs tattoo shop at night and Starbucks during the day.They always say don't dress dark.It's kinda funny I wear black things for the tattoo shop and at Starbucks I look like a harmless little girl.I put this on.

I walk downstairs to see my mom completely drunk and still drinking on the couch.I walk past her.She throws a beer bottle at me."WORTHLESS PIECE OF SHIT"she yells as I exit the house.

I arrive at the cafe within 10 minutes.I open up and of course people come literally running in.Ugh my co worker is ALWAYS late.

"Hey I'd like a"A man starts.I look up.Great!It's Louis and Harry."Hey Louis what do you want?"I ask him."I thought you were working at the tattoo shop"he says confused."I have two jobs now order or leave."I tell him.

"Feisty"Harry says.They give me their orders and I ready them.Yes!Breakfast rush is over.I think I'm gonna take my break now.I grab their order and sit down with them.

"So why did you leave so early?"Harry asks."Oh my mom she wants me home by midnight so yeah"I say.They nod and start to talk about unimportant things at least to me.

"Hey what's this?"Louis asks brushing my cheek a bit.Damn they noticed!"It's nothing"I say quickly."We know you're lying,what is it from?"Harry says.

I've never been good at lying."My mom slapped me and threw beer bottles at me for coming home so late and drunk."I say quickly.

"It's all our fault I'm so sorry"Louis says."No it's not"I say."Yes it is we made you come with us and get drunk"Harry says."Don't worry about.I've lived like this my whole life"I say.

"Please let us take you somewhere"Louis says/begs."Like where?"I ask."I don't know to the mall to get something"he says.I sigh"Fine just for a little bit."I say."C'mon then"Harry says."Wait what about work?"I say.They groan."Are you coming or what?"Harry asks.

Well co worker is supposed to be there.And anyways my shift will be over in 15 minutes.Oh what the hell."Yeah let's go"I say.They seemed surprised at my answer but didn't object.
