Hostage

Chapter 7

Mia's POV

"Punishment will be at home" were the last words I heard before I felt a needle puncture my arm and everything went black.

I wake up later in what looks to be one of the in finished rooms in the basement. When I say unfinished I mean that the floors are concrete with no carpet, the ceiling is leaking water from the bathroom above, and pipes are jutting from the walls. It's all in all a dreary place.

I sit there in the corner of the little room for hours and hours it feels like forever. I suddenly start to hear screams ,but not anybody's screams they sound like Carrys!!!!!

I run to the door and begin screaming
"NO!! NO!! PLEASE IT'S NOT HER FAULT!! PLEASE HURT ME NOT HER!!! I'LL DO ANYTHING! ANYTHING I PROMISE!!" I beg praying someone will hear me but the screams continue for what feels like hours and hours. When they finally stop my voice is hoarse.

Tears are streaming down my face. They hurt her all because of me. Because I had to run away. That should have been me, this is all my fault she's just a little girl she shouldn't have to go through this no one should.

I hear slow footsteps descending down the stair case outside my door. They stop in front of my door. I prepare my self for beatings for death for almost anything. Nothing could have prepared me for what came next.

The door opened to reveal Louis, his eyes emotionless staring straight ahead.

"Where's Carry is she ok? Are going to beat me? I'm do sorry don't hurt her anymore please?" I began trying my best to hide the horrible feeling that was beginning to crawl up my spine.

Louis slowly turns to me eyes the same. His voice is steady and calm. As soon as the words leave his mouth I crumple. Everything I have is gone I'm all alone.

"Carry is dead."
