Inseparable

The boys decided to invite a couple of their friends they made in New York over for a party. I was sent out with the girls who recently returned from their shopping trip to get paper plates, cups, and silverware while the boys got the beer. We stopped at a small dollar store in the center of town and Perrie went in while the rest of us remained in the car.

"Are you coming with us Friday?" Dani asked, breaking the silence.

I slumped back in my seat. Harry and I hadn't worked out the details but I was pretty sure that I was staying here while he went to London. The idea didn't please me but I was trying to do whatever was right with for the boys.

I swallowed the lump in my throat and spoke up. "No,"

It quieted down again, the thought of us splitting up weighing heavy on us. We didn't speak again until Perrie sat in the front seat and handed me the plastic bag. She took one look at our faces and frowned.

"What happened?"

"Lana's not coming with us to London." Eleanor spoke quietly. Perrie looked back me and creased her brow, her lips parted slightly.

"Why?"

"I don't want to get in the way of the band and all. Plus I have a life here. I haven't gone to school in two weeks." I admit, dropping my head.

Dani sighed and put the car in reverse, the streets of New York blurring as we sped back to the complex. We made small talk about things that were going on in the world until we arrived at the house. We packed up all the things we bought and walked inside to see the boys, plus a few others that I didn't recognize, spread out across the room. We ducked into the kitchen and set up everything, each of us having a specific jobs. While I was stacking the plates, Liam and Zayn walked in, both of them separating to greet their girlfriends.

Eleanor scooted closer to me and we walked out the kitchen to go find our guys. We checked the living room, nope, and upstairs, nope. I looked at El for a suggestion on where to look.

"Outside, maybe?"

I shrugged and she led me outside towards the patio. I opened the sliding door and saw Harry, Louis, and two other boys that I didn't notice crowding around a fire. Harry's eyes lit up when he saw me and he eloped me in a hug. We broke apart and I looked at the two unfamiliar boys expectantly.

"This is Ashton and Michael." Harry introduced us.

"Hey," Ashton said while Michael waved. I did the same.

"I'm going to go try and find someone to dance with." Ashton excused himself with a reluctant Michael behind him. Harry pulled up a chair and motioned for me to sit, I thanked him and gladly sat down.

"I'm going to go get us some more beer." Harry announced.

"I'll go," Eleanor perked up, kissed Louis' cheek, and disappeared inside the house along with Harry. I looked back at Louis and smiled sincerely. He was staring at me strangely.

"What?" I asked, raising my eyebrows.

"I like you," He grinned.

"Thanks," I replied.

"You're like the only cool girlfriend that Harry's had. Like Kendall, who never looked up from her phone, and Taylor, who had a horrible laugh and she wouldn't shut. up." I giggled at his description of Harry's past girlfriends.

The glass door opened and Harry waltzed over, handing me a beer. I thanked him and popped off the top, sipping it slowly to get used to the taste.

"We're going to go inside." Before El could protest, Louis picked her up and totted her inside. Harry pulled on my arm and I set down my beer on a table, he took me where the back lights didn't shine and pointed to a blanket on the ground. I lowered myself down and he did the same, us laying on our backs, gazing up at the stars.

"I don't want to leave tomorrow." Harry said softly.

"Let's not think about that." I rolled over and inched closer to him. He wrapped his arm around me and brought me closer, kissing my forehead. He rested his head on mine and squeezed tightly.

I buried my head in his chest and smiled as the vibrations of him talking ran through his body.

I fell asleep like that, curled around his body, clinging to him desparately, afraid that he would leave me.
