Inseparable
Trust Me
Lana's POV
2 days later
I used flipping through the TV channels as a distraction while I was waiting for Harry to respond. He left yesterday after I woke up for some band stuff and promised that he would visit me today.
I'm not convinced.
I stopped on some love movie and propped my feet up on the coffee table, sipping on my hot tea.
My phone started buzzing and I almost spilt the tea on my lap in desperate attempt to get it. I set it down on a coaster and picked up my phone to see a text.
From: Harry :)
Where are you?
I replied:
To: Harry :)
At my apartment.
It took him a few minutes to respond and I could picture him thinking about what to say next.
From: Harry :)
I'll be there in a few minutes.
I set down my phone and picked it up again to look at the clock. 12:44. His complex wasn't that far away...
Over the days my apartment has become a bit sloppy. There were empty cups and dirty plates that littered the table and un folded clothes on the couch. The windows had dirt spots on them and the curtains were drawn so there was no light coming through.
I jumped off the couch and grabbed as many cups and plate as I could and carried them off to the kitchen. I picked up the pile of clean clothes and shoved them into one of the hallway closets. Grabbing some cleaner and a rag, I opened up all the curtains and wiped down the windows until I could see my reflection.
As soon as I was done, there was a knock on my door and Harry's voice rang over the other end.
"Let me in!"
I set down the rag and walked over the door, swinging it open to reveal a smiling Harry who was leaning up against the threshold.
I went to embrace him but he frowned and looked down at my clothes.
"You look like a mess." He tried to stay serious but then cracked a smile.
I rolled my eyes and pushed him back slightly.
"Shut up and hug me," He obliged and hugged my waist tightly.
Once we finally did part, I shut the door behind him and sat down on the couch.
"So I was thinking that we could go for lunch at that new Paris restaurant down the street." I said while he sat down beside me. I rested my head on his shoulder and tucked my legs in beside me.
"Sure but you have to change first. I don't want to ruin my reputation." He had a wicked smile on his face.
"How is this?" I said after I took a quick shower and changed into a casual floral dress and flats.
I walked out of my room and saw him sitting on the couch, watching the MMA fights.
He spun around and stood up abruptly.
"You look ravishing."
I giggled at his intellectual language.
"So you like that?" I nodded back towards the TV where some dude was getting his ass beat.
He shrugged. "Just bored I guess."
"I could probably take you." He winked.
"I doubt that. I'll have you on the floor in 5 seconds." I flipped my hair nonchalantly.
"It's kind of hard to take you serious when you're wearing a dress."
"Whatever." I pushed him out of the way as I walked past him to retrieve my phone off the coffee table.
"We should get going. I made us a reservation." He said, his voice husky.
"Thanks, babe." I kissed the corner of his lips in a teasing way and pulled back quickly before he could do anything else.
"I love it when you call me babe." He smirked.
I took his hand and led him out the apartment, downstairs. He walked around my side of the car and opened the door. I crawled in the seat and thanked him, buckling my seatbelt as he swiftly moved back to his side.
He sat down and cranked the engine before giving me a playful glare.
"Lana?" He said quietly. "I plan on returning the favor."
We arrived at the restaurant a few minutes later and parked down by the river front. He took my hand and guided my down the street and into the tightly packed restaurant. We pushed ourselves through the crowd and towards the hostess station.
"Styles. Party for 2." He told her.
God, he's so cheesy.
She looked up and her face paled. She was obviously a fan of him.
"Right this way," Her voice was shaky as she led us through the room and stopped at a table in the corner.
Just as I sat down, Harry spoke up.
"Actually, if you don't mind, I would like a table outside." He snuck a look at me before returning his attention to her.
"S-sure," She scooped up the menu and scurried back to the front. We thanked her for the final time and took our seats.
I swept my eyes over the bay at the small shops with people flooding in and out of them. It was absolutely beautiful.
"After this I want to take you back to my place." His words make my heart flutter.
I opened my mouth to respond but the waitress walked up to our table. She smiled down at Harry, not even bothering to give me a look, and asked his order.
Once he was done, she turned to walk away but Harry grabbed her wrist and politely smiled.
"I think you forgot my date's order." He glanced at me.
For the first time today, she looked over at me. Disgust was written all over her face.
She put on a fake smile and held up her note pad.
"Yes?"
"Water please. And a salad." She scribbled it down and walked away, embarrassed.
"Please tell me you’re not that type of girl who only orders water and salads." He rolled his eyes.
“No. I’m just in the salad type of mood.”
The rude girl came back with our orders and Harry thanked her before indulging in the delicious food. We ordered dessert and shared a fudge cake together as people walked past us.
After we were finished, Harry paid the bill and soon we were on the way back to his house.
“I don’t have anything to do tomorrow.” He said as we turned into his driveway.
“We can have a lazy day.” He added, looking over at me.
I nodded eagerly.
The car came to a halt and we walked hand in hand up towards his door. He knocked on the door and it opened immediately to show Louis standing in front of us with a game controller in one hand.
“YOU’RE BACK!” Louis pushed past Harry and hugged me a little too energetically. Harry stirred beside us and Louis laughed before releasing me.
We followed him inside and into the living room where everyone else was, including Perrie. They all perked up and waved Hello as we took a seat on the couch.
“Where have you two love birds been?” Niall asked with his hand in a bag of chips.
“We went for lunch.” Harry answered and his grip around me tightened.
I glanced over at the girls and they had the we need to talk look written all over their faces.
“I’ll be right back,” I whispered in Harry’s ear. He didn’t say anything but his arm loosened and I shimmied out of his grasp and followed the girls upstairs and into Eleanor’s and Louis’ room.
“Everything okay?” I eyed them quizzically and shut the door so no one would eavesdrop.
“So?” Dani asked in anticipation.
“So what?”
“Anything happen?”
“What do you mean?”
“I mean sexual. Did anything sexual happen?”
My face flushed red and confusion crossed my face.
“Nothing happened. I’m not like that. Well I don’t just go around sleeping with guys.” The words stumbled out of my mouth.
“You’re a virgin?”
I cringed as if I was hit with a sledgehammer.
I looked down at my knotted fingers.
“Oh come on, you can trust us.” Perrie smiled sincerely.
“Yeah, I am.” I admitted shyly.
“Pish posh.” Eleanor waved it off with her hand.
“It’s not a big deal. You should be happy that you’re still a virgin.” She continued.
“But it does feel good. Really good.” Dani whispered with a kinky smile on her face.
“Especially with Zayn. Oh hot damn he is a sex god!” Perrie said raising her voice.
“Did you know that Louis is-“
“GUYS!” I yell then we all break down into laughter.
I can’t believe that I just had the sex talk with my best friends.
