Danielle’s P.O.V

Liam handed me the envelope with Abby’s handwriting on it. I looked at him before I took it but he was just staring at the letter with an expressionless face. I took it from him and looked around at everyone. We were all tired and we were going to have to be up in a couple hours for our flight back home and the boys back on tour.

I opened the envelope and unfolded the paper inside and read the note and I couldn’t help but cry. She left and she promised she wouldn’t. She was supposed to be my best friend.

I reread the letter because I still haven’t registered that this was real. Niall was at my side since I opened the letter knowing that I would cry.

“She left. SHE LEFT!” I said softly and then yelled it because I was now really angry.

“What does it say?” Rachel asked.

I sobbed some more leaning on Niall for support.

“To sum it up. It says she is leaving and that she hopes we understand and that she is going back to try out for the X-Factor.” I said wiping my tears away. I knew she was going to do this. She always runs away when things start to become real to her she leaves because she doesn’t want to get hurt.

Oh god! She must have started to love Liam back. I looked to find Liam sitting on the couch with his head in his hands. The poor guy is in love with her and she left.

I sat down next to him and pulled him into a hug. I was hurting but I can’t even begin to understand how much pain he must be in right now.

“Did she say anything about me?” He asked with the voice of a man that is falling apart. I rubbed his back to try to sooth him a bit before answering.

“I’m so sorry Liam.” I said and he just broke. It was the saddest thing in the world. I looked around the room to see everyone else was sad but poor Liam.

“It’s almost two in the morning. I don’t think we are going to get much sleep tonight so I will make some breakfast.” Harry said and went to the Kitchen with Austin following him.

Zayn and Lizzie went upstairs. I guess they were going to try to get some more sleep since we have to be at the airport by 7:30 at the latest. Louis pulled Rachel into a hug and kissed her on the top of her head before wiping away the tears that had fallen then giving her a soft quick kiss on the lips. I would ask about that later but right now I needed to comfort Liam and well Niall wasn’t going to leave my side till he had to go back on tour.

I sat there for a while just holding Liam as he let it all out. I tried to be strong for him but I let out a stray tear here and there and Niall was there rubbing my back trying to calm me down too.

“Hey Liam how about we get you upstairs and you can get some rest?” I asked and he nodded into my shoulder.

I was going to take him back to the room but I didn’t think it was the best idea but Liam wouldn’t have it. He made me take him in. Once I opened the door the room had an eerie feel to like something was missing because well Abby was missing.

I lay Liam down and pull up the covers and give him one last hug and a kiss on the temple before shutting off the lights and closing the door.

I saw Rachel and Louis walking up the stairs and they both gave me a hug. They were sad but I just felt like I lost a piece of myself.

“We are going to try to go to sleep. It’s almost four.” She emphasized the word sleep to know she was only going to be sleeping.

I chuckled at her and gave her a wink before she rolled her eyes at me and Louis took her hand and lead her into his room.

“Do you want to get some food or lay down for a while?” Niall asked me but I no longer had the strength to be strong anymore.

I collapsed into his arms and started to cry hysterically. I let everything I have been holding in for Liam’s sake out and Niall just stood there holding me and just tried to calm me down. He knew not to talk to me though because he knew I was not in the best state for talking.

“I think you should take her to lie down.” I heard Harry’s raspy voice from behind me. His hand found my back and I turned around and practically launched myself into his arms.

“Shh. It’s ok. You’re ok.” Harry said running his hand slowly up and down my back.

“She left me. I didn’t even get to say goodbye. What if she leaves me for good?” I sobbed into Harry’s shoulder.

“She won’t leave you love. She loves you. She’s your best friend. She will be there when you get home.” He said and I just stood there in his arms.

I knew that this was killing Niall because Harry was able to get me to calm down enough to where my cries were just soft sobs now.

“I want to go to bed.” I said softly into Harry’s shoulder. I stepped out of Harry’s arms and turned to Niall who was there to pull me into his arms.

Harry and Niall exchanged nods and then Niall picked me up bridal style and carried me to our room.

He placed me in bed and pulled the covers up and then stripped down to his boxers and climbed in next to me pulling me closer to him till my head was buried in his chest and his arms engulfed my waist.

I just listened to his heart beat as he rubbed my back softly and I slowly drifted off in to a dreamless sleep.

Sorry about not updating sooner. Some things are out of our control. Well its coming down to the goodbyes and let the tears begin. I dont want any of them to leave each other but what king of story would we have if we didnt have low points and drama?

I have heard a few baby names so far.... Are their anymore you guys can think of?
