The Water's Sweet but Blood is Thicker

Rachel's P.O.V.

"You gonna come in the water?" Louis asked, as soon as we were on the sand.

"Maybe. I wanna relax for a while though first" I told him, shrugging.

I had brought a big towel with me and a book, and was looking forward to just relaxing in the sun.

"Awwh c'mon! Don't be boring" he whined, as I began taking off my shorts and t-shirt to reveal my polka dot bikini.

His eyes scanned my body once I had but the moment was interrupted by someone clearing their throat loudly.

"You two getting in the water?" Harry asked from where he was awkwardly scratching his arm.

I shook my head.

"Don't think this is over, I'll be back" Louis told me seriously.

I smirked slightly, shrugging.

And with that Harry and Louis wandered off towards the ocean.

Louis was right, the beach really wasn't too crowded. But after all they were the biggest boy band on the planet and they would most likely be recognised by someone.

I set up my towel and once I had applied all my suncream properly, lay down on my back.

I would read in a little while, for now I just wanted to lie down.

However my peace was short-lived.

"Excuse me?"

I sat up quickly to see a girl about my age, looking incredibly nervous standing above me.

"Hi" I flashed her a smile quickly. "Can I help you?"

"Your Rachel, Harry Styles' sister, right?" she asked, biting her lip.

I nodded.

"Could I maybe get a picture with you? I'm a huge fan" she told me. She seemed a lot more excited now that I had confirmed that I was his sister.

"Of course hun, no problem" I smiled kindly, sitting up.

She sat down next to me and took out her phone.

"I like your phone" I grinned in approval.

It was the newest iPhone.

"Thanks, it was a present" she replied.

Once she had taken the photo, she put her phone back into the small bag she had.

"So, what's it like being the sister of Harry Styles?" she asked.

I chuckled slightly at the question.

"Well its pretty hard at times. I mean Harry's always busy so I don't get to spend much time with him" I told her honestly.

"That's gotta be rough" she mumbled.

I nodded in response.

"But then again, it's gotta be great hanging out with the other boys. Lets face it, they're all super hot" she winked.

I giggled at that.

"I heard your sister, Danielle's dating Niall?" she continued.

I nodded.

"Yeah, I guess they went official so" I shrugged.

"How did Harry take it? He's always seemed somewhat protective" she voiced.

I snorted.

"Understatement of the century" I told her.

"Really?" she asked.

"Oh definitely. He's extremely protective. But Dani and Niall really love each other. And Harry knows that. At the end of the day, he just wants us to be happy" I explained.

"That's cute" she couldn't help but smile widely.

"So, what about you? You got your eye on any of the other boys?" she added.

"No" I replied almost too quickly.

She smirked at this.

"Oh c'mon! You can't hang around the hottest boyband in the world and not have a thing for any of them" she said simply.

When I looked away blushing she gasped.

"Oh my god, is it Niall? Do you like Niall?" she asked, her eyes half popping out of her head.

I shook my head firmly, chuckling.

"No, no, of course not" I laughed.

"Rach!"

We both looked up quickly to find Louis standing above us.

The girls face paled slightly and her jaw dropped.

"Who's this?" he asked.

I bit my lip awkwardly. I had only realised I didn't even know her name.

"This is my new friend..." I trailed off, hoping for her to add her name.

"Isabelle" she finished, looking down shyly.

"Nice to meet you" Louis grinned at her.

She smiled back sheepishly and I couldnt help but smile at how nervous she was. Not that I could blame her, he was the Louis Tomlinson after all.

"She's a big fan Lou, you should take a picture with her" I suggested, knowing she wouldn't be able to ask herself.

"Yeah, sure" he nodded.

Isabelle's cheeks reddened slightly but she seemed ecstatic.

He took not one, but several pictures with her, each one looking weirder than the previous one. Louis loved making faces in photos.

He took the phone from her hand then and made his way over to me.

He slung an arm around my shoulder and snapped a picture of us quickly and then handed the phone back to Isabelle.

"Thanks" she smiled widely.

"Anytime love, any friend of Rachels is a friend of mine" he told her.

I couldnt help but smile slightly at that. Isabelle noticed and grinned too.

"So, are you gonna come in the water now?" he asked me, his arm still around my shoulder.

"Yeah, I'll be over in a few minutes" I replied.

He nodded.

"Don't take too long" he mumbled, sounding like a child.

He removed his arm from my shoulder and I instantly missed the contact of his skin with mine.

"It was nice meeting you" he smiled politely at Isabelle before turning around and leaving.

She just smiled in response but once he was out of earshot she smirked at me.

"It's Louis! You like Louis. It was so obvious! Does he know?" she asked.

"I don't know what your talking about" I muttered.

She rolled her eyes.

"Please!" she laughed.

"Whatever. I'm going into the water. You coming?" I asked, standing up.

She shook her head.

"Okay here, pass me your phone" I told her quickly.

She seemed confused but handed it to me anyways. I typed in my number and handed it back to her.

"See you around Isabelle" I gave her a wave before turning around and heading to the water.
