The Water's Sweet but Blood is Thicker

Abby POV
I went surfing until Danielle came back. When I saw the car close to the mansion I got out of the water and ran up the beach. When Danielle got the car I ran up to her.
“So?”
Danielle shakes her head a panicked look on her face. I pull her in and give her a hug. I run my hands over her head.
“It’ll be fine. You will be a great mother. And I noticed this little thing earlier you still have to tell me about that.” I say tapping her engagement ring and sending her a wink.
Dani shakes her head.
“Oh Abby what have I don’t I’ve corrupted you.” She says jokingly.
“Oh so Alex is coming over later do you think that you could help me get ready?”
“I thought he was supposed to come yesterday?”
“Well yeah but something came up with Cassidy and he had to take a rain check so hes coming up tonight.”
“Well Abs I think you have the date situation all settled.”
“Please?”
“I think you got it.”
“Dani.”
She shakes her head and walks inside. Whats up with her. I walk upstairs and knock on Lizzie and Austin’s door. Lizzie opens it.
“Is Austin here?”
“I’m here.” Austin says from behind Lizzie. Lizzie opens the door and I come in she then leaves.
“Whats up?”
“Alex is coming over later and Dani won’t help me get ready could you help me?”
“Sure its your first date right.”
I nod my head.
“Well then we’ll have to make this perfect.”
I smile at her. We head to my room and I head to my room. Openning the door I see that our rom is vacant. After I shower I come out into the room. Austin had layed out some outfits on the bed. (Abby's outfit: http://www.polyvore.com/abby/set?id=111855075)
“I really like this one.” She says pointing to the one at the end. “It will bring out your eyes.”
“I like it too.”
I go to grab it and Austin slaps my hand away.
“Hair, make-up and nails first the clothes are the last thing you do.”
I sit down on the bed and Austin begins to curl my hair. After a couple of curls we hear a knock on the door.
“Who is it?”
“Rachel.”
“Come in.”
Rachel comes in.
“Hey Abs can I help I’m bored and Harry is off with Louis.”
“Sure.”
Rachel come in.
“Oh I know what you need.” She grabs the nail polish and paints my nails. Soon Austin finishes my hair and starts doing my makeup. Just as she finishes the mascara the door opens and Liam sticks his head in. I start screaming because I’m in a towel and Austin throws the hairbrush at the door which Liam quickly closed.
“When am I allowed in?”
“When were done.”
“So how’d things go with Liam last night Abs?” Rachel asks
“I think you can see how it went.” I say sarcastically motioning to the room with the hand Rachel wasn’t doing my nails on. There was a large pile of blankets and pillows on the floor on one side of the room and we had pushed the bed against the wall.
“I kinda made Liam sleep on the floor.”
“oh?”
Austin steps back from my face.
“There your done.”
Rachel finished with my nails and I stood up. Slipping on my clothes I look in the mirror. I grab one of my long layered necklaces and slip it on. Turning around I pose for the girls.
“How do I look?”
“You look good Abs.” I hear from the doorway.
Turning I see Danielle leaning against the door.
“See I told you you’d be fine.”
I smile at her and then I hear the doorbell ring.
“Right on time.”
I run down the stairs and open the door. Alex stands there looking a little nervous. I give him a big hug and he picks me up and twirls me around I start giggling.
“Hey.” I say.
“Hey.” Alex says leaning down and kissing me.
I hear gagging noises behind me. Turning I see Louis in the doorway.
“Aren’t you going to introduce us?” Austin says.
“Guys this is Alex, Alex this is Austin, Louis, Rachel, Danielle, Zayn, Lizzie and Harry? Where’s Liam you guys.”
“Did you honestly expect him to be here?” Lizzie says sarcastically.
“So you want a tour?”
“Yeah sure.” I grab Alex’s hand and show him around the house.
“And this is my room.” I say opening the door. I see Liam reading something on his pile of blankets.
“Hi Liam.”
Liam starts up and hides the book behind his back.
“Oh hi Abs”
“Alex this is Liam, Liam, Alex.”
“Hey dude.” Alex says offering his hand to Liam.
Liam just stares at Alex’s hand. I grab Alex’s arm well come on.
“Well come on lets go order dinner.” I take Alex downstairs to see Austinn and Harry making dinner.
“Oh looks like we don’t have to.”
“Harry how long until dinner is ready?”
“About 45 minutes.”
“Thanks.” I turn to Alex swinging our intertwined hands “So what do you want to do?”
“Do you want to walk along the beach?”
“Sure.” I say dragging him out the back and down to the beach.
“So what’s Liam’s problem.”
I stop for a second and try to choose my words carefully.
“He umm……”
“Oh okay I think I get the problem.”
We walk along the beach Alex walking really slowly so I’m kind of pulling him along.
“Hey Abby.”
I stop and turn my head towards Alex. He pulls me into his chest. He looks deep into my eyes then gently kisses me. I close my eyes and snake my arms around his neck. My mind wanders to Liam.He had kissed me in the same way. I just hadn’t kissed him back it had been my first kiss and I hadn’t know what to do. I quickly clear my thoughts. Alex’s tongue swipes my bottom lip asking for entrance. I part my lips and his tongue slips inside my mouth. Alex’s hands slip to my waist and he lightly holds me. I finally pull away for air and I see a slight smile on his face that I’m sure is reflected on mine. I check my watch.
“Oh gosh we should get back.”
We head back to the mansion and see everyone inside with their plates in the living room. I grab 2 plates, pile them with food and hand one to Alex. I grab a beer out of the fridge.
“Want one?” I offer
“No, I have to drive back tonight.”
“Anybody else want one?”
I get a choruses of yes’s and no’s. I grab a bunch and head out. I hand them out to those who asked for one skipping Austin and Danielle.
“Where’s mine?” Dani asks
“None for you, you know it isn’t good for you.”
Dani pouts but sits back.
I offer one to Liam and he takes three.
I sit back on my legs on the couch and eat dinner. Afterwards I look around the circle.
“So what should we do?”
“Truth or Dare?” Louis suggests.
We all nod.
It goes around everyone asking each other things when Dani turns to Liam.
“Liam truth or dare?”
“Dare.”
“I dare you to snog the prettiest girl in the room for 30 seconds.”
Liam come over and sits next to me. He cups my chin in his hands and kisses me. I kiss him back and when the 30 seconds are up I find myself breathless. I sit there in shock for a minute while people continue to ask.
“Abby? Abby?”
“Wait what?”
“Truth or dare?” Zayn asks.
Not wanting to admit anything I choose the safer option.
“Dare.”
“I dare you to kiss the cutest guy in the room.”
I look and everyone is looking at me. I scan the room. I don’t want to cause to much drama so Alex and Liam are out. Niall, Harry and Zayn are clearly taken and sitting by their girlfriends. That leaves…..
I lean over Alex and give Louis a quick kiss. Rachel and Louis give me knowing glances but everyone else looks confused.
We continue to play truth or dare and other drinking games until around midnight. Alex then gets up.
“Well it was nice to meet you all but I better be going it’s a long drive back to Seville.”
I walk with him to the front door.
“I had a good time tonight Abby. Oh and Cassidy said she would kill me if I didn’t ask you. Were going down to Gibralter the day after tomorrow for 2 days and we want you to come. I’ll text you the detailsplease think about it.” Alex says kissing me really quickly.
“And you need to get to bad you’re going to have a nasty hangover tomorrow.”
I smile at him and wave as he drives away. I hear hysterical laughter from the living room. Going back in I see that everyone has gone back to their rooms. Liam had tripped over the corner of the couch and was on the ground rolling around laughing. I go over to him.
“Come on Liam lets get you to bed.” I say giggling.
I try to help him up but end up falling on top of him giggling. We finally manage to get up and lean on each other upstairs to our room. Liam sits on the bed and I sit next to him. Liam looks at me looking almost sober. I hear sniffles from him and I realize he is almost starting to cry.
“Why don’t you like me?” Liam cries out.
“Liam, I do like you.”
“Really?” He says looking at me.
“Yes your one of my really good friends.”
“Oh,” Liam looks at me looking dead serious, “Can I try something?”
I look at him skeptically but nod my head.
Liam leans over and kisses me. He is soft and gentle. He kisses me with tenderness and if I knew any better maybe love. Wait where did that come from Liam couldn’t love me. He tastes like beer but I don’t care. The butterflies start in my stomach and I see fireworks. Liam gently asks for entrance and I let him in. Kissing Liam just feels so right like nothing else matters. I put my hands on his chest and Liam groans. My hands run down his muscles and slip under his shirt. Liam pulls away for half a second and pulls his shirt off. He pulls me onto his lap and kisses down my neck. I groan and run my hands up and down his torso squeezing gently every once and a while. I feel Liam get hard underneath me. All of a sudden Liam turns us so I am lying flat on my back on the bed and he is above me. He continues kissing me and slips his hands to the hem of my shirt. He looks at me with pleading eyes and in my drunken state I nod. Liam slips it over my head his hands go to stomach and then to my bra unclasping it he throws it away. Liam start to play with my breasts. I moan into our kiss and involuntarily grind my hips into his. Liam puts his hands down and slips his boxers off. He starts trailing kisses down my next and down to the top of my shorts. He un-buttons them and pulls down. He then kisses back up to my breasts and attacks them I moan and grind harder against Liam’s member. I feel Liam’s breaths get shallower as he grinds into me.
“Fuck.” Liam almost yells and I feel something wet on my leg.We continue to kiss for a minute and Liam starts to kiss down towards my underwear. I grab his face and cup it in my hands.
“No.” I say kissing him deeply.
I then crawl up to the top of the bed and get under the covers. Liam gets up and changes his underwear facing away from me. He then climbs into bed behind me and curls up behind me spooning me. I fall asleep with a smile even though I knew I wouldn’t remember any of this tomorrow morning.
