The Water's Sweet but Blood is Thicker

Rachel's P.O.V.

The water fight lasted for at least 15 minutes before I finally yelled out 'TRUCE!'

Louis agreed, nodding.

I was absolutely drenched now, and still in my clothes.

I felt my teeth chatter a little. The water was starting to get cold due to the fact that we weren't splashing around anymore.

"C'mere" Louis mumbled, pulling my body closer to his.

"Thanks" I replied.

I looked up to meet his eye and was surprised to see how close his face was to mine.

Our noses were almost touching.

Before I knew what was happening, Louis lips had met mine. I was shocked at first but I began to kiss him back almost instantly.

When we parted I found myself grinning.

"That was...weird" I told him honestly. And it was. Since I had met Louis, we had clicked. He had become one of my best friends. I had never thought about him in that way.

He chuckled slightly.

"I know. C'mon, lets get out of the water. It's freezing" he told me.

After talking things through with Niall and Danielle, we all decided to go back to the house.

I wasn't really surprised that Dani and Niall were together. I had seen it coming. And Danielle seemed to know that Louis had kissed me, because apparently some of my lipstick was on his lips.

I wasn't really sure what to do though now. I mean, did this mean that Louis liked me, or had feelings for me? Or maybe it was just a spur of the moment thing? Louis was always very spontaneous.

Either way, it wouldn't make much of a difference. Harry would never want me and Louis together. He was far too protective. And Louis was his best friend.

When we got back to the house, Harry I told me Austin needed me.

It turned out she needed me to make her tea. I was the best at making tea.

Once I brought it up to her, I decided to stat and chat for a while.

"So, how are you feeling?" I asked her.

She smiled.

"A lot better" she told me. "Harry's been great" she added.

I raised my eyebrows.

"So what's going on between you and Harry?" I asked.

Her cheeks turned crimson.

"Nothing.." she muttered.


I rolled my eyes.

"Oh c'mon Austin! I know you and Harry have a thing going on.." I grinned.

Her blush deepened.

"Whatever. Well what about you Rach? Its obvious you and Louis are into each other! One of you need to grow a pair and admit it!" She blurted out.

I felt my cheeks heat up a little.

"That's not true" I muttered. Though I wasn't fully sure anymore to be honest.

I couldn't stop thinking about the kiss.

It might not have meant much to Louis but it had made me think of him in a completely different way.

Once I was done talking to Austin, I headed to me and Harry's room.

I lay down on my bed, I needed to think things over.
