We Can't

"Guy's I'm sorry It's just not safe" I pleaded. They've been so upset with me.

"Not safe? Not safe?! If something bad were to happen we can protect them." Adelaide retorted.

"It's more than just protection. What happens if they fall in love, or you do? Not only are you putting them at stake you're putting yourself!" I was losing my temper. They know what can come from this.

"We won't fall in love, it's just a friendship. We've been friends with mortals before." Kiera joined in.

"They were girls. You aren't lesbian, that's why it was okay."

"We could ask mom" Destiney suggested.

"If you really want to do that, than fine. Call her up and put her on speaker phone"

"Fine" She pulled her phone out and dialed up her number. It rang three times.

'Make it quick' She screamed, followed by a distance cry of pain.

'Say we wanted to be friends with a mortal, is that okay?' Destiny asked

'It's fine. But you know the dangers' Another cry of pain. 'I have to go' She hung up.

"Ha! I told you so."

"You heard what she said. We know the dangers."

"So we can hang?"

"I still don't feel it's safe."

"Well I do. So I am going to call them up and see if tomorrow they want to hang out for a bit."

"Fine, but remember no later than 11. We are dangerous after midnight." Destiny rolled her eyes.

"What are we going to do?"

"Monstrous Movie Night?" Jamie suggested.

"Or Vintage Movie Night?" Destiny asked.

"Or a mash of both" Kiera suggested.

"I like it, what about you Aurora?" Anna smiled.

"Already making the list." I pulled out my phone and out down a few things.

The list seemed so long. "Pick from the list, and Destiny call them up" I put my phone down on the table and let them choose. While Destiny texted them.

"So they will be here around 10, they have the day off." Destiny looked up from her phone.

"Great, you did tell them no later than 11:45?"

"Um, have you guys picked out the movies?"

"Destiny, answer me"

"No, but they will be gone."

"DESTNY!"

"It'll be fine" She rolled her eyes.

"Better be. For now let's make some dinner and bake up something sweet." I shimmed making my charm bracelet jingle.

"What are we going to make?" I asked myself aloud while climbing up on the counter to grab the cookbook. Just because mum isn't here doesn't mean we can't eat a real meal. "Here take this" I handed down the cook book to whomever would grab it. I hopped down as soon as the book was out of my grasp. We surfed through it for 15 minutes before deciding on Sloppy Joes. While I was cooking up the meat, Adelaide readied the buns, and Jamie set the table. With the teamwork it only took like 30 minutes. Our dinner was silent.

"Hey guys" Destiny put her phone on the IHome and turned on a song. It was Turn Down For What. From there it was a dance party. We danced until dark.

"Dear goodness! It is hot!" Anna fanned her self. My phone dinged.

'You're missing out!' There was a video attached of an after party. I suddenly felt my wings spread out followed by a loud 'Whoosh'. Ugh. It was getting really hot, so I opened our window I heard a loud "Whoop". I could see five people walking towards the house, laughing. I sighed, wouldn't it be nice if I could be out like that? They got to our house, one stopped and looked up, that's when I realized that it was Louis and the rest. He gave me a really skeptical look, I really hope he doesn't recognize me. "Guy's come here" He signaled them over. Shit, I've been spotted. They're drunk, maybe they won't recognize me.

"Whoah." Harry said looking up at me, or not.

"Right?" Louis responded.

"Her wings are so pretty" Niall said like a little kid.

"She must be beautiful if she's an angle." Liam said making me blush.

"Hey!" Louis shouted up at me. I didn't move, I was frozen.
