Flower Lily Club

Chapter 3 (part 2)

“I guess you’re right,” Sam agreed. “Maybe we need to head to Carly’s apartment and tell her I’m sorry!”
“Yeah,” Magalona said happily. “That’s the spirit!”
After minutes of convincing Freddie to pick between Carly and Sam, Franchessca and Freddie finally ended their conversation.
“You really helped me,” Freddie said. “I think I can think about my problem overnight. I’ll let you know everything by tomorrow.”
“It’s no big deal,” Franchessca told him. “I think we better head home.”
Freddie asked her, “What do you mean?”
“I mean we both live in Bushwell Plaza, right?” Franchessca clarified.
“Oh, right,” Freddie said. “So I guess we better walk home now.”
“Yes,” Franchessca said. “Wait here!”
Franchessca phoned Magalona telling her to meet her by the parking lot immediately.
“Here are the car keys,” Franchessca said handing the car keys to Magalona as soon as both girls saw each other in the parking lot.
Patricia told Sam, “Could you wait here for a second? I just need to use the restroom”
“Sure, I’ll just roam around,” Sam said as she started heading for the direction of the parking lot.
This remained unnoticed by Patricia however and she disappeared behind the doors of the girls’ restroom.
Carly and Malaska sat down inside Carly’s apartment in a disappointed yet relaxed position.
“Hey, I think I left my paper in my locker at school,” Malaska suddenly said. “Would you mind coming with me to school?”
“Why, of course not,” Carly said. “Maybe we can find Freddie there.”
After wearing their jackets, the two girls started walking toward the direction of Ridgeway High School. In a few minutes, both girls reached the school.
Sam reached the front door of Ridgeway as she continued roaming around and then went back to the garden right before Carly and Malaska saw her.
“Sam?” Carly shouted which made Sam look behind her.
“Oh no,” Malaska mouthed to herself as she silently blamed herself for this unfortunate happening.
In surprise, Sam asked her, “What are you doing here?”
“What are you doing here?” Carly repeated but in a more surprised tone.
“I never left this place since we were dismissed,” Sam explained. “Then you’ll come right out and shout at me by the hallway!”
“Okay, stop this nonsense, now,” Malaska said, trying to gain control of the brewing fight.
Patricia’s voice was suddenly heard in the hallways. “Sam, where are you?”
Meanwhile, Magalona headed for the garden while Franchessca and Freddie eventually reached their apartments.
“Sam?” Magalona called out seeing no one, “Patricia?” In fright and anxiousness, she immediately dialed Patricia’s phone and when the latter picked her phone up, Magalona asked her, “Patricia where are you?”
“I’m near the front door,” Patricia said at the other end of the line. “And you better get here fast! Sam is missing!”
“I’ll go there, just freeze okay?” Magalona said then went straight to the front door hurriedly.
“I hear a commotion but I’ll stay here,” Patricia promised.
In a few seconds, Magalona reached the scene and exclaimed in surprise, “Sam?”
“Maggie,” Patricia said upon seeing Magalona.
“Why did they see each other?” Magalona asked Patricia in a scolding tone.
“I don’t know, I’m at the ladies’ room then when I came back she’s gone,” Patricia explained.
“C’mon Carly, let’s go to my locker,” Malaska said pulling her but she protested and shouted back at Sam’s trash talks.
Sam noticed Malaska and remembered a recent conversation she had with Magalona that she instantly recognized her. In anger, she asked Carly, “Magalona’s sister is with you?”
“How did you know her?” Carly asked, “Is that Magalona with you?”
“Stop it, now,” Magalona said.
Sam looked at Magalona and asked her in disgusted anger, “How could you?”
“I hate you,” Carly told Malaska pushing her away.
With tears in her eyes, Malaska said softly, “Hey I’m just trying to help you with your friendship problems!”
“I don’t need your help,” Carly shouted then exited the school.
Sam felt the same with Carly and turning to Magalona and Patricia, she asked them, “Any explanation?”
