Chapter 3 (part 3)
“That’s our purpose too,” Patricia admitted with her head down.
Magalona asked Sam “Is this goodbye?”
“Actually, yes,” Sam said without hesitation. “Bye!”
“Why are you here?” Magalona asked Malaska after Sam exited the school.
“I left some of my home works and mission documents in my locker and my class schedule,” Malaska explained.
“Well you shouldn’t have—” Magalona began scolding her sister.
“It’s not her fault,” Patricia interrupted.
“Let’s drive home,” Magalona finally decided and they drove home in their Convertible. Soon, the three girls reached Apartment 8B.
Upon seeing the threesome, Franchessca eagerly asked them, “How’s your mission?”
“Terrible,” Magalona said as she threw the keys in Franchessca’s hands. “How’s yours?”
“Freddie doesn’t have his pick yet but he said I helped a lot,” Franchessca said happily. “I’m sorry, though, about how yours turned out.”
“This mission is pretty tough,” Patricia said.
“I know we can do it,” Magalona told her, hoping to give Patricia and herself some encouragement.
Malaska asked the two girls, “But how can we regain Carly and Sam’s trust?”
Franchessca instantly knew what this query meant so she asked them with a gasp, “They met?”
“They did,” Malaska answered regretfully. She suggested, “Okay how about this, let’s apologize to them by note and explain why they should regain their friendship,”
Magalona smiled at the idea but asked, “Not a bad idea but will they read it before throwing it in the trash?”
Without any of them knowing, Carly had her ears taped on their door, eavesdropping.
