Life as i knew it

A I got on the plane the flight attendant said that I could have the first class seat that belonged to a guy that hadn't shown up. all I could think about was Dylan and if she was really in the hospital and if I had kept my promise then this wouldn't have happened. I cant believe I left her. I loved her so much. Before I knew it the plane had landed and it was time to get off. I rushed out of the building as fast as I could only to be greeted by the one and only paparazzi. as I tried to push by tem to get to a taxi they kept trying to ask me questions." NIALL NIALL WHY ARENT YOU AT YOUR CONCERT AND WHY DID YOU RUSH OUT SO EARLY" '' WHO ARE YOU GOING TO SEE THAT IS SO IMPORTANT''. urge I hate them so much. I rushed into the nearest cab closed the door and told the driver to take me to the hospital. once I got to the hospital I walked right up to the front desk and didn't realize I had been crying until the nurse asked if I was ok. " umm do you know what room I might find Dylan Kelly in?" I asked wit a shaky breath. she looked at me as if I were crazy or mental and then replied." o-oh yes of c-course." now she was on the verge of crying. " she's in room 503." I took another look at her to see she was now sobbing and that scared me. ALOT. I walked slowly into her room that she was supposedly in and saw her laying in bed lifeless. Her skin was white and she had about a million wires sticking out of her. I couldn't believe it, and that's when I completely broke down in front of all the nurses that were checking her temperature and making sure she was ok. I fell to the ground bursting into tears trying to catch breath and get back on my feet but I couldn't I just sat there on the ground staring at the lifeless looking Dylan that was once the energetic Dylan that I loved more than anything. Then a few seconds later I felt a pair of strong hands under my arms pulling me out of the room. I looked up to see one of the doctors pulling me into the hall and sitting down next to me. " Shhhhh, its going to be ok" she said rubbing my back. " hey look at me, everything's going to be okay. she's just resting." I looked up at her and saw her on the verge of tears just like the nurse at the front counter of the hospital had been doing. " ill be right back with some tea for you is that okay." she asked sweetly. " yes. Thank you." I said in between sobs. A couple minutes later she came back with 2 cups of tea, one for me and one for herself. " Look, I know this looks bad right now, but shell be better in no time trust me." she said with a soft smile. " how bad is she?" I whimpered tearing up again. " well what happened in the crash was it was a head on hit, the other car being a truck and the driver drunk. All the windows of the car shattered due to the impact of the hit and one of the pieces of glass cut Tommie's main artery in his neck. and due to impact Dylan was launched to the back of the car and smashed her head on the back of the car. She had to have surgery on her brain and she is in a coma." she said sadly. " Holy shit where's Tommy!?" I asked sudden worry washed over me. If tommy was dead, Dylan would be recked and depressed the rest of her life. She and tommy were best friends from the moment Dylan was born. There was just this special connection they had. " Niall, we tried everything we could for tommy but, we don think he'll make it. He's on life support right now and has lost too much blood. When Dylan wakes up, you are not to repeat any of this to her do you understand. she will get confused." I nodded my head which told the doctor I understood. " Another thing, niall, when she wakes up, she may not remember anything. she may remember parts of her life but miss out on big chunks so just be prepared, Ok? I nodded my head and got up to go see if Dylan had woken up yet. Sure enough there she was, still looking like a ghost, but she was talking to one of the nurses who was asking her questions. I walked over to her bedside and smiled lightly. " hey princess how are you feeling?" I asked her hoping she would remember that that's what I called her. She sat up a little in her bed. Looked dead into my eyes and said " umm, sorry but do I know you at all." my heart stopped completely and I fell to the ground shock consuming over my body as I was carried out of the room by the 2 nurses and the same doctor before for the 2nd time.
