Dare I Say It?

*Romany's POV*

"Rome, what about this one?" Mom asks while holding up a yellow monstrosity that I assume is a dress. We were at the mall shopping for some new outfits. Apparently Holmes Chapel Comprehensive didn't wear regulation uniforms like my previous school did. I grimace.

"Erm.. why don't you go find us a restaurant while I finish up here?" I suggest.

Mom chuckles. "Of course lovie darlin'." she says and walks away.

I find a few more nice tops and a super cute dress. I head off to the shoe department. I spot thee most gorgeous pair of boots. I find a pair in my size and I plop down on a nearby couch, kicking my shoes off as I sit. I put the boots on and I grin. "Hell yeah." I say admiring the boots in a mirror.

"You can say that again." a voice says behind me. I look up to see a girl standing behind me staring at the boots. She smiles.

"Hi, I'm Perrie Edwards." she says sticking her hand out to me.

"Romany Miller." I say while taking her hand, shaking it.

"Wow, what's up with the accent? Where are you from?" she asks curiously.

I chuckle nervously. "I'm from South Africa." I answer.

"Really? Wow that's SO cool!!" she practically yells.

"Yeah it is." I agree.

"so how old are you Romany?" Perrie asks.

"I just turned 18 last month, how about you?"

"18. Happy belated birthday by the way." she grins.

"Thanks." I say grinning too.

"PERRIE EDWARDS WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU!?" I hear a guy yelling.

"OVER HERE BABY!" she yells back.

She runs over to a dark haired, olive skinned guy, hugging him. He has a lot of tattoos as well as earrings. Wow. Guys back in SA didn't have enough balls to get earrings. He hugs her and kisses her forehead.

"Zayn, c'mere. I want you to meet someone." Perrie says while dragging him towards me.

"Zayn, meet my new friend, Romany. Romany, this is my boyfriend Zayn."

I was chuffed. I already have a friend here and it's only my second week in England.

"Nice to meet you." I say with my hand extended.

He takes it and shakes it.

"ditto." he says grinning. He turns to Perrie.

"Love, everyone's already waiting. Niall is going to pass out if he doesn't get food into his system soon."

"But I was busy talking to Romy!" She protests.

"Bring her along." Zayn suggests.

"Romy, come with, pleeaasseee?!" she goes down onto her knees and starts begging.

I laugh. "Alright alright, but only if you get up." I concede

"YAY!!!" she yells.

Zayn and I laugh. "I just need to pay for my stuff and text my mom." I say.

"Sure thing. Zayn, we'll meet you there." Perrie says smiling sweetly at Zayn.

He leaves and we head to the cashier.

Romany: MOM!! GUESS WHAT?! I'VE MADE TWO NEW FRIENDS!!!! EEEEEEEK!!! anyway, they've asked me to join them for lunch, pleeaaaase can I? I'll get one of them to drop me at home after. love you!! <3

Mom: What?! I'm so glad to hear that! enjoy and tell me everything when you come home!! love you too!

"Mom says it's fine. She's so excited to hear that I've made a friend." I chuckle.

Perrie giggles. "Well prepare to make a few more." she says.

I laugh nervously while I pay for my stuff.

We exit the store and I follow Perrie towards a restaurant I've never heard of. We enter the restaurant and I spot Zayn sitting with a group of people. Perrie waves at them excitedly.

"Here they are now." I hear Zayn say.

"Everyone, this is my new friend Romany Miller. She just moved here from South Africa a week ago. She's going to join us at school!!" she grins like an idiot. Plus, how did she know which school I was going to?

"Romy, meet everyone. You already know Zayn, so this is Eleanor and Sophia," she says gesturing to the two other girls.

"and they," she gestures to the four guys, " are Niall, Louis, Liam and Harry."

"Oh!' I exclaim looking at the blonde guy. "so YOU'RE the dude that's gonna pass out 'cause of the lack of food!"

Everyone starts laughing. I feel someone staring at me and when I look at the guilty party, I see that it's the curly haired guy. Harry, I think. I smirk at him and he blushes.
Wow. I've never been able to make a guy blush before. It feels so good not being the one that blushes this time. I wink at him and sit down. We order our food and everyone asks me loads of questions. Everyone except Harry. I wonder why. I like Louis the most, he's the funniest guy ever. I also learn that Eleanor and Louis are dating, so are Liam and Sophia. They make the cutest couples ever!

After lunch Perrie dropped me off at home.

"Per, thanks so much for today. I really had fun." I hug her and climb out of the car.

"It was GREAT meeting you Romy! OH! before I forget, gimme your digits then we can totally hang out tomorrow!!" she says. I give her my number and take hers. I wave at her while she drives to a house one house away from mine. She parks her car, gets out, started jumping around like a maniac while waving and ran into the house. I laugh and go inside.

This place is starting to grow on me. I might actually enjoy living in England.

Hi ladies!

So I still haven't gotten my phone back, but I AM bumming some internet time off of my dad's computer, so I'll try to update as much as possible.

I'm going to be taking my time with this story, I'll be stretching it out as far as I can.
