“What are you doing?!” asked Aubrey while watching her brother Isaac, try to climb out of the window.

Aubrey and Isaac aren’t real family, Aubrey’s mother married Isaac’s dad. But only two years after their marriage Samantha, Aubrey’s mom, died of breast cancer. Soon after that George, Isaac’s dad, changed. But not for the good.

“Aubrey, listen to me. I can’t live here anymore and you can’t either. I’m going to find a place for the to of us somewhere far away. Meet me tomorrow at midnight at the abandoned gas station.” Isaac was now standing on his balcony.

“o-okay.” Aubrey nodded. Isaac grabbed Aubrey’s head and gave her a soft kiss on her forehead.

“Please, take care of yourself. This will all be over tomorrow okay?” Isaac asked his sister. She nodded her head slowly and gave him one last hug.

Isaac nodded at her and jumped of the balcony, landing perfectly on his feet. He gave her one last glance and then ran in the forest.

They live in a old house at the tree line of a big forest. They live in a small village in America. Nothing ever happens here but Aubrey want’s that to change.

She quickly walked back to her room and went to bed, she closed her eyes. She heard George’s footsteps walking towards his bedroom. She has never called him dad, but she does call Isaac brother. George was a very kind man when her mom still lived. But even then she felt something was off with him.
