Love Behind Bars

Harry's plan was not well thought out. There were many things that could go wrong, but he decided to put that into the back pockets of his mind.

He knew Adela would not be easily convinced. It would be hard enough to get her agree, let alone the fact that his plan had so many holes. What he knew was that Adela would not agree until he straightened his thoughts out. She would insist for him to patch all the holes and smooth out the edges. She would not settle for less then guaranteed success.

Which, although very annoying, is one of the reasons he loves her. Her need to always succeed, her attention to detail, there are so many things he could think about her that made him want to have her next to him. He was somewhat mad at himself for being so cliché and cheesy, but he was somewhat happy that he thought the way he did.

Harry, was also surprised how badly he wanted to see Adela and break her out. What she did was unspeakable, he truly thought he would never forgive her when he witnessed it. But after thinking about it, he knew Adela only did it out of love and care for him. He also knew he wouldn't be able to stay away from her, because he was absolutely, head over heels, in love with her.

That was the only thought coursing through his mind as he rushed out the door of the coffee shop. The only thought while he got in his car and stepped on the gas.

I love her....

Adela stared at the wall in her cell. She didn't call officer Murphy to take her to the nurse, she didn't eat, she didn't leave the cell. She just kept lying down and sitting up, staring at the wall.

she couldn't stop thinking about him. He clouded her thoughts. She was biting her nails, a habit she broke when she was 12, she was so worried about him.

She couldn't sleep. She beame so accustomed to sleeping the pain away she was forming bags under her eyes since she wasn't sleeping.

To top it all off, she couldn't stop thinking about her court date. It was one more week. Seven days before she stood before a judge to try and save herself, even though she and everyone around her knows she's guilty. She tried to focus on what she was going to say before the jury, but all she thought about was brown curls and emerald eyes.

Afew hours later officer Murphy walked into Adela's cell.

"You have a visitor." He said and looked at the unmoving body on the bottom bunk. He was surprised Adela wasn't springing up, eventhough she never does.

"I really don't want to see anyone, officer Murphy," Adela groaned. Officer Murphy was surprised by Adela. She usually always wanted to leave her dreaded cell.

"I know who the person is out there, Adela. And you might want to see that person." He whispered to her.

This caught her attention, and she slowly sat up. Going through the routine of being handcuffed and lead through the halls.

She was very intrigued by this visitor. It's was obviously someone who was never here before. She knew it couldn't be....

She slowly walked to the end of the booths. She kept her head down, afraid of who might be there. She grabbed the phone and slowly lifted her head up.

Her heart stopped, and her breath caught in her throat. Her beautiful boy was in front of her. He looked different though. His eyes blood shoot, dark circles under them, hair messy. He still looked beautiful, none the less.

"Harry?" Adela asked, her voice full of question as if she was imagining it.

"Hello, Love."
