Lauren's POV-
Trying to stay calm and keep my breathing steady I heard my name called countless times and thuds as my belongs were tossed around. I could hear the sirens outside, but I could also hear my captivates telling them that I wasn't going to come out of this house alive. Shifting so I'm sitting cross legged my phone lit up. Answering I whispered "hello?"
"Hello, is this Lauren Huhn?" A deep voice asked.
"Yes, who is this?" I asked voice wavering.
"This is Officer Pete. We are outside your house right now, are you inside?"
"Yes" I muttered.
"Ok miss this is a very dangerous situation. We need you to stay quiet and hidden. Where are you in the house."
"The attic."
"Is there a window or anywhere you can escape from up there?" He calmly asked.
"There is a window but I don't know if it opens." I answered.
"Okay, is it in an area you can reach?"
"Yes, I'll go check now." I said getting up and carefully walking to the small circular window. Looking out I could see the police. Bringing the phone to my ear I quickly said, "the window can open."
"Okay miss can you open that window quietly please." he gently asked.
"Yes sir." I said unlatching the window and pushing it open. I squeezed through feet first landing on the small awning that on looks the front yard. Waving I tried to get the attention of the police. Seeing me Pete said, "Okay love, can you stay on the roof while we come in?"
"Yes." I said hanging up as I watched the men come closer to the house with their guns drawn. Reaching the house they were in there for over 10 minutes as we all listened to screaming and fighting. They finally came out of my house with 6 in handcuffs. Getting them into police cars one came over and motioned for me to jump. Gulping I took the jump, he missed and I hit the ground. Wincing I got up and ran to the curly boy standing with 4 other boys.
