Reunited

Savannah POV
Shit! I was just caught kissing my teacher! "Sorry! I didn't know I was intruding! I just wanted to talk about Emilie." I hear Harry say. I don't want to turn around, but i know I have to. I slowly turn around to meet eyes with Harry. "Oh, hey Savannah." Harry says nervously. "Hi." I say nervously. "Is Emilie really doing that?" He questions. "Yes, I'm sorry Harry." I say. "Hey! It looks like you got your best friend back Zayn!" Harry says, motioning to me. "Yeah." He laughs, rubbing the back of his neck. "Well. I'm going to go." I say awkwardly. Why did he have to kiss me? I don't want anything to ruin our friendship. I mean, don't get me wrong, I love him, I really do, but I don't want anything to hurt us. I walk outside and realize I still have my other joint. I sit on the steps of the school and light it up. After all, it is free hour. Then I here the door open. Shit, why am I so stupid? Smoking a joint at school... Tch. I take it out of my mouth and out it by my side. I sit there frozen, unable to move. "It's fine, it's just me." I hear Zayn say as he sits down by my side. "What. You aren't going to ask me why? You aren't going to get upset?" I question, surprised. "Well, I'm disappointed, but I'm going to let you be." He sighs. "Sorry." I say. "Yeah it's fine. Sorry about in there." He says. "Yeah. Haha....." I laugh awkwardly, not knowing what to say. "Savannah, I know your upset about that and I know you don't want to ruin our friendship, but when I say that I love you, I'm not joking. I really love you." He says putting a hand on my thigh. "I know Zayn. Like I said, I love you too." I sigh. "I know you felt something in that kiss. I sure as hell know I did." Zayn says with a very serious face. "I did Zayn! But I don't want it to ruin anything between us!" I say, tears brimming in my eyes. "I know. But just think about it... About us. Better yet, just go on one date with me. Just one. If you are completely disappointed then we won't get into it, but you won't be." He mumbles the last part. I laugh at his small comment after. "Uhm... Zayn... Oh fuck it... Ok." I say with a smile on my face. Zayn's smile widens. "Oh, thank you!" Zayn smiles while kissing my forehead.

"Sooooo, I saw you during free hour." Megan the beautiful and talented says. "Uhm, what did you see?" I say nervously. "Well, I was waiting for you outside of Zayn's room and... Well I saw you and Zayn kissing!" She squeaks. "I knew it would happen one day!" She says, jumping up and down. "Ok, ok. Shut up about it." I whisper, because Allie is in the next room. "Ok, sorry, who are you going on a date with tonight?" Megan says, digging through my closet for a dress. "Zayn." I say, my hands becoming the most important thing in the world. Megan slowly turns on her feet with her mouth open and her eyes wide. "ZAYN" she shrieks. "I'm so happy for you!" She screams. "Yep" I say, smiling like and idiot. I have to admit, I really like him. I have no idea how to handle this. I love him, but this may put our friendship in jeopardy. I am pulled from my thoughts by Megan. She is holding up two different dresses. "Hmmm, I like the second one." I say to her. "Good choice. I like this one better too." She says as she hangs the dress on the bathroom door.

I am standing in the kitchen, ignoring Megan as she rants on and on about how cute this is. Then I hear the doorbell ring. I happily make my way to the door and take a deep breath. When I open the door I see Zayn, looking amazing as always. "Wow, Savannah, you look...... Stunning, beautiful, magnificent, I don't know how to label this." He says, taking my hand and kissing my knuckles. "Thank you." I say, blushing and looking away from him. "Goodbye love birds!" Megan sings as she pushes me out the door. "Hi." I say quietly, looking at the ground. "Hello beautiful." Zayn says grabbing my hand and intertwining our fingers. I let out a quiet giggle. I suddenly become very nervous and tense up. "What's wrong, boo?" Zayn asks, obviously noticing. "What if people see us? What if we get caught?" I say, my breathing going crazy. "Boo, calm down, we won't get caught." He says, now rubbing slow, soothing circles on my back. It sends tingles to every nerve ending in my body. I rest my head on his shoulder and he lets out a small laugh. "Where is your car?" I say, laughing at the memory of the ratty old thing. "I got a truck." He says like it's no big deal. "Oh! This is news." I say. All he does is laugh and lead me to his new vehicle. Before I can open the door he opens it for me. "Well, thank you sir." I say in a joking voice making us both laugh. "The pleasure is all mine madame." He jokes back, making us go into a fit of laughter. He gets into the truck and we drive away.

I guess I fell asleep on the way because Zayn woke me up. "Boo, we're here." He says gently into my ear. I slowly open my eyes and smile. He leans down and gives me a sweet, soft kiss on my lips. I smile and blush. He holds a hand out to me and I greatly take it. When I get out of the truck I see out tree. The big oak is draped in lights. It's so beautiful. "It's beautiful, Zayn." I say quietly, looking up at him. "You really like it? I thought you would think its to much." He says, smiling. "Never." I say jokingly, side hugging him. Zayn grabs my hand and pulls me to the back of his truck and I see a picnic basket. "You hungry?" He asks me, his hands on my waist. "Yes." I answer. He lifts me onto the bed of the truck and then gets in himself. He pulls out the basket and gets out a bottle of champagne. "To being reunited!" Zayn screams, making me laugh. "To being reunited." I say as he pours me a glass. "So it's okay for me to drink when I'm not legal?" I say, laughing. We spend the majority of the night laughing and making jokes. Just like we did way back when. "I'm sorry." Zayn says quietly, looking into my eyes. "For what?" I say, not understanding. "For everything I have done to you. Never contacting you. Leaving you. Hurting you. I hate myself for it. It kills me to think I caused the woman I love to want to hurt herself. I love you to much to loose you again." Zayn says. At that moment I know what I want, I want Zayn. I love him. "I love you." I say to Zayn. "What?" Zayn says, confused. Before he can say anything else I pounce on him and kiss him hard. I feel his lips move against mine instantly. His hands are on my back pushing me against him. We break apart, needing to breath. "I love you." I say again, stroking his cheek. "I love you too." He says, pulling me to lay down next to him. I put my head on his chest and he rubs my back. "What time do you have to be back?" Zayn mumbles into my hair. "Doesn't matter. I sneak out all the time, Allie doesn't bother asking anymore." I say to him. "Why?" He asks me. "I don't know..." I snap. He lets it go after that. "You wanna dance?" Zayn asks me a couple minutes after our last conversation. "Um... Haha... Funny.... You know I can't dance! Besides, there is no music!" I laugh out. "So what? I can help you." Zayn says, pulling me out of the truck. "Well, first you put your hand on my shoulder and hold my hand with the other one." He says while putting a hand on my waist. "Okay, now I will lead you." He says with a smile. He moves back and I follow, but end up stepping on his foot. "Sorry!" I squeal with a red face. "It's okay boo." He says, rubbing his hand up and down on my side. We just stumble around for a bit, laughing and stepping on feet. Suddenly Zayn falls back taking me with him. We practically die laughing. "Sorry! I tripped on a rock!" Zayn laughs out. "Haha! It's okay. That's what you get for making me dance." I say. Zayn then grabs my head and pulls my lips to his. Our kiss slowly gets heated. I bite Zayn's bottom lip and he takes my top lip hostage in return. Zayn slides his tongue over my bottom lip asking for entrance which I immediately give him. I feel his tongue slide into my mouth. Our tongues battle for dominance that Zayn quickly wins. I really love this feeling. Our tongues glide against each other for a little while longer until we have to breath. "I love you." Zayn says, kissing my forehead. "I love you too." I say back, smiling. "Maybe we should get home, it's three." Zayn says, looking at his phone. "Damn, really, okay." I say getting up. We walk to his truck and I climb in. "So where are we standing?" Zayn asks awkwardly once he is slides into the truck. "Yes, Zayn, I will go on more dates with you. And yes, I am your girlfriend." I say, practically reading his mind. He smiles then grabs my hand.

"You can come in you know." I say to Zayn quietly. "Allie won't care?" He questions. "She isn't here." I say to him. "Oh, well, okay." He says, walking in. I lead him up to my room and we sit on my bed. "What time do I need to leave?" Zayn asks, rubbing my thigh. "Actually I was wondering if you could stay?" I say to him, looking into his eyes. "Oh......um......yeah sure, I would love to." Zayn says. I get up from my bed and put on Zayn's big t-shirt from when we were kids and came back into the to room. Zayn is already in his boxers and under the covers facing me. "That's been here this whole time? I love that shirt, I have looked for it everywhere!" Zayn yells, surprised. "Yep, now it's my favorite shirt." I say, scooting in bed. "I'm not used to this." I say, motioning to his one clothing article away from nakedness. "What? Me being only in my boxers?" He says with a smile. All I do is laugh and lay down facing away from him. Soon I feel Zayn put his hand under my shirt and around my waist. "So, so soft." He whispers in my ear as his hand grazes my stomach. I smile and entwine our fingers together on my tummy. I feel him kiss from under my ear to the corner of my mouth and I smile. "Do you know how much I love you......? I love you more than all of space combine." Zayn whispers to me. I smile and turn my head only to have my lips captured by Zayn's. We kiss for a few brief moments then I turn back around to out previous position. "I love you more than you will ever know." I say before I fall asleep in Zayn's arms. Right where I belong.
