Reunited

Zayn's P.O.V.
The entire room was silent. "Yeah, yeah, just leave me alone." she snaps. I back off, understanding. "Okay class, let's start by introducing ourselves. Tell me about yourself." I say. Everybody in the class volunteers, but Savannah. All I can do is look at her. She is very beautiful. She looks the same, but also very different...... in a good way.

Savannah's P.O.V.
"Okay class, let's start by introducing ourselves. Tell me about yourself." Zayn says, acting like nothing just happened. Everybody raises their hands but me. He picks Kate first. "Kate." he says. "I'm Kate Orndoff. My best friend is Emilie and there is one person in this room I absolutely hate." she says looking towards me. Zayn sees and rolls his eyes. We get through the rest of the class, I guess its my turn. I look up and the class is looking at me expectantly. I slowly stand. "Well, I don't know where to start. There is nothing you people really care enough to know about me." I laugh out. I look at Megan and she gives me a nod. I sit on my desk. "Well, I'm Savannah! Like you all know, I have absolutely zero friends. I lost my best friend when they left for college two years ago." I say, looking straight at Zayn. "Whoa, who would want to be friends with a diseased rat? I'm think your lying. What was their name?" Kate scoffs. I glare at her then go back to talking. "Apparently Za- I mean them, and the name doesn't matter." I say the last part quietly. I look at Zayn and he is looking at the floor then he looks to Kate."They made two promises. They broke the first one..... I don't know about the second one.

This is where I start crying. "The day after he left my mother was murdered in my living room. My grades went down hill after that. I get high a lot and I have attempted suicide." I say, looking Zayn in the eyes. His eyes are watering. He is on the verge of crying but he wont let himself. "Oh, it was a he. You probably fucked him and gave him herpes. That's probably why he left, and to bad you failed at dying..... because we all wanted you to." Kate sneers. Zayn's mouth falls open. "Can't you leave this poor girl alone? Just shut up! Shut the hell up!" Zayn yells with an angry voice. I just sit there surprised as hell. That is something my Zayn would say, not the teacher version. "I-I'm sorry." Kate says quietly. "No, no your not. You will just bitch at her later and you know it!." Zayn says. "Okay." Zayn says taking a deep breath. "Now for the teacher inquisition. What questions do you have for me?" I raise my hand before anyone else can. "Savannah." he says. Oh, the way he says my name, it sends tingles down my spine. "Did you or do you have a best friend?" I say dryly, expecting a different answer.

"Yes, yes I did. She was my every thing. I actually loved her, but I lost her. Next question" he says. Before anyone else could say something I blurt out. "What happened to her?" "I left for college and I didn't do something that I said I would and that ruined our relationship. "Did you have any promises?" "Yes. I was supposed to call her every day while I was gone but I didn't try to talk to her once and we never talked again." I nod my head slowly at his words. "Do you miss her?" I ask trying to hold back my tears. "Yes. I do very much. I loved her dearly but she didn't love me back. Actually I still love her." he says looking me straight in the eyes. I look to Megan who is smiling like an idiot at me. I can't hold the tears back anymore. I get up and push past him. "Yes she did." I say, only loud enough for him to hear. I walk, actually more like run from the class. I lean against the wall and let the tears fall freely from my eyes. I hear the class room door open and close again. "Savannah, I'm sorry! Where are you? Come back to class!" I hear Zayn say. I look at him and he catches my eyes. "Go away." I whisper through my tears. "No." is all he says. Damn, he just wont give up will he? With that I run to the doors of the school. 'I'll come back after math.' I say to myself.
