Silenced

Alma's POV:
We finally reached Liam's house and it was 1 PM. I hugged him goodbye and walked over to my house. There were several police cars there. What happened? Is my mom okay? Did he come?
I ran to my house with my ankle still hurt and saw my mom inside talking to some officers. They all turned their heads. My mom ran and hugged me.
"I thought something bad terrible happened. I tried calling someone told me you were in the hospital, but when I got there you were already checked out! We moved all the way out here so that you would be safe. How could I not be worried!" My mom shouted.
"I'm... I'm sorry. I just fell down the stairs and..." I told everything that happened to my Mom, well except the part in which I slept naked next to Liam.
"Well I'm happy you're okay. I must go over and thank your friend Liam. As for you. It's too late for you to go to school, but you are not allowed out of this house unless it is for school or work purposes am I understood?" My mom said with a very stern, but concerned face.
My mom eventually got all the police to leave as the wrapped up the case.
I charged my phone and quickly turned it on.

*4 missed calls from Liam
*12 missed calls from Ellie
*4 missed calls from Harry
*2 missed calls from Unknown
*13 text messages
I was going through the messages and they were mostly from Ellie saying how sorry she was and two were from Harry asking me if I was okay and questioning why I wasn't picking up my phone. How did he get my number anyway?
As I left my phone on charge I quickly changed, kissed my mom goodbye, grabbed an apple and headed to work.
I was still slightly limping, but I still managed to do a lot. As I was organizing some of the body sprays, I felt someone grab my shoulder.
"Yes, how can I help you?"
It was Ellie. "I am so sorry! I should have checked up on you! I am so happy to find you here and alive! I heard you fell down the stairs." Ellie said as she looked concerned.
"It's a long story, but I'm alright. Not the best way to make a first impression, huh? I'll catch you up later, but I really need to finish my shift. I get off in 30 minutes. Meet you at the foodcourt?" I said hoping my boss wasn't around.
"Definitley!" Ellie said as she walked off.
