Alma's Pov:
Liam my leg really hurts, I complained.
That's because you didn't listen to me and started to run because you wanted to get there faster and tripped over a rock. He replied with a chuckle.
It's not funny it really does hurt.
As soon as I finished sentence Liam picked me up and put me over his shoulder.
There do you feel better now? He snickered.
After ten minutes of being on Liam's shoulder we finally reached the hotel.
Okay we are here. I'll set you down and we'll get checked in. He said.
Welcome to the Daily Hotel how may I help you? The clerk greeted us as he was holding a flashlight. Sorry you have to excuse me our lights was completely shut off because of the storm.
It's fine we just need a phone.
Since there is no power there are no phones available at the moment I am really sorry. All I can do is check you in to a room. I'll do it free of charge. He said with a concerning face.
Okay I guess we are staying the night. Liam said.
He grabbed the gave us candles and matches and took us to our room. Three minutes later Liam and I were in the room soaking wet, dark, and alone.
Hey Alma you should probably take a shower. You don't want to get sick. You can take the candle in with you and leave your clothes by the heater to dry. Here are some towels. I'll take one after you. Liam said with a concerned face.
Okay. I grabbed the towels and the candle and limped to the bathroom. After running my body through the hot water I heard a knock on the door.
Hey Babe don't use all the hot water. Liam said chuckling.
I quickly got out of the shower and wrapped the towel around my body. I opened the door to see Liam ready for the shower as he was only in his towel. He stepped closer. I backed up which knocked over the candle and caused the flame to go out. That was when I realized that the candle wasn't the only thing thing that fell to the floor. As I bent down to grab the candle I felt Liam's towel.
Oops. Liam said.
