Silenced

I quickly deposed of the note. There is no possible way he could know where I live. This is all a very cruel joke, I thought as I walked into my house. The air was cold and the house still felt dark and empty. I turned on the fire place and went to feed Sunny. I sat down on the couch and turned on my TV to get my mind off things. A quick episode of Criminal Minds would be too horrible. Hours went by and I was on my fourth episode.
"GO, GO, GO!" They shouted as they opened the door to the bombers apartment. They walked through the apartment with caution and with fear in every stop. Slowly opening each door they made their way down to the last room of the apartment. The door was locked so the leader stepped back and kicked it down. I jumped in terror my house door swung right open. Luckily it was my mother with groceries.
"Sorry, sorry, my hands are full" She said as she was trying to kick the door back.
"It's okay mom let me help you with that"
"Thanks"
"So how was your trip?"
"Trip? ha" she laughed, " I ended up winning the case"
"That's great"
"Yes sweetie it is. I should be around for a couple of days before I have to take on another case."
After helping my mom put away the food I checked my phone and it was already 6:30. We quickly made dinner and talked the rest of the night. By 11:30 I manged to do my homework and finally get some sleep.

"You and me, we made a vow. For better or for worse. I can't believe you let me down. But the proof's in the way it hurts" My alarm rang to the voice of Sam Smith. I still hate Mondays. I rolled out of bed and dragged myself to the shower. The hot water hit my back and the steam hit my face. I don't want to get out of the shower, but I know I have to. I quickly got out of the shower and wrapped a towel around myself and brushed my teeth. I went into my room and quickly picked out an outfit. It was simple warm and comfortable.

I quickly grabbed my bag and headed downstairs. My mom is still probably asleep. I quickly grabbed my keys and headed towards school. As I walked into homeroom I noticed Harry was not there. Probably sleeping in. As class continued Mr. Bice kept talking about Modernity. "Does anyone know what started Modernity?" Bice asked "No one at all? How about you Alma? Why don't you take a stab at it?" of course out of all people he had to pick me. I cleared my throat. "Well Mr. Bice in all honesty I don't believe you can mark modernity with one historical event. I believe many things lead us to Modernity , but if I had to choose one I would pick the steam engine." "Very good Alma" he said with a smile on his face. I can't believe I actually got that right.With the end of class nearly approaching Mr. Bice stopped reading from the book. :Alright class we are going to have a group project about an aspect of Modernity. Each of you will pick a partner. As everyone found a partner I sat quietly in my seat. Mr. Bice walked over. "Ms. Smith since you do not have a partner and young Mr. Styles is gone you will be his partner". I rolled my eyes, but nodded my head and headed out of homeroom.
My other two classes went by quick. Which was great since Art was my final class. As I walked into the room I fell onto to floor. Pencils fell everywhere.
"I am so sorry" I said
"It's okay I should have been watching where I was going"
I looked up to shining blue eyes. This girl reminded me so much of Ashlee just without the tattoos. I quickly held her pick up her things and walked into the class where I sat next to Liam.
"Hey Liam"
"Hey Alma, how are you?"
"Great, I have a question do you know where Harry is?"
"Umm well.. I'm actually not very..."
"Why are you asking Love?" Harry said as he strolled into the room.
"I just wanted to let you know we are partners for a project in homeroom"
"Oh really" He said with a smirk on his face.
I ignored his smirk and continued on with my drawing. As soon as the bell rang I went to my car and went home to change for my job. I quickly changed.

I grabbed my bag and keys and headed for the shopping center. I actually enjoyed working here. It was easy to get the hang of the ropes. As I folded underwear I turned around to get more and fell to the ground." I need to stop crashing into people." I mumbled. As I helped the customer up I noticed it was the girl from art.
"I'm so sorry again" I chuckled.
"I didn't know you worked here" She said
"yeah I just got hired"
"Well I'm Ellie"
"My name is Alma nice to officially meet you. " We talked for a bit until she had o go to the cashier. As she was about to walk out of the store she turned around.
"Hey Alma?"
"Yes, how can I help you?" I answered as my boss was watching me.
"I know, I don't know well, but you seem really nice and I wanted to if you wanted to go to this party with me tonight.
"Sure" I answered. I really needed friends.
"Great! here is my number text me your address and I'll pick you up at 11" And she walked out of the store. Once I finally got home I instantly raided my closet to find something to wear I picked.

It was simple, and yet it looked nice. I texted Ellie and said goodbye to my mom who was not so pleased about me going to a party on a Monday night and I headed to Ellie's car. We drove several blocks away and arrived at a large beautiful white house. This will be a great distraction I told myself to calm down. As soon as I stepped out of the car the smell of alcohol and weed filled the air. We walked to the door and Ellie knocked.
"Ready?" She said
"hmm ready" I said smiling.
The door opened and these piercing blue eyes opened the door. "Welcome" He said with a cheeky smile and an Irish accent.

Okay Loves yes I know this is a very boring chapter and I am sorry for that I promise the next one won't be. Also sorry for the late update I wrote this chapter and then it got deleted. I didn't have time to write it again until now. Anyways Loves I hoped you enjoyed it.
