Silenced

“Let it be, let it be, oh let be, let be” the soothing voice of the Beatles filled my ears as I was trying to drown out my mother talking on the phone. “Sweetie we’re here” she stated. I jumped out of the car and took out my headphones to see the marvelous new house. It wasn't big but it was much bigger than the one I lived in back home. Trees where everywhere lined up around the house, it felt like a forest. As I walked in I heard the sound of the boards’ creaking. I walked up the stairs and picked the smaller of the two bedrooms leaving the other one for my mom. “Alma come help me with the bags!” I sighed and headed down the stairs.
"Thanks for helping sweetie so did you pick a room?" my mother asked I just quickly nodded my head and went straight to my room and started unpacking. She could tell I wasn't so happy about moving. This wasn't my home.
As I reached my room and started unpacking I took a peek outside my window. I noticed another house with a window looking directly in mine. From that moment I knew I had to invest in curtains immediately.
As I finished unpacking I noticed it was almost midnight. I quickly undressed put on a T-shirt and fell asleep.

When my alarm clock rang I quickly woke up took a shower applied some make-up and headed down stairs where I was greeted by my mother. " Hey sweetie how did you sleep?"
"Great I guess" I answered
"Sweetie I know this is hard for you but this is the only job I managed to get. I am sorry we had to move and I'm sorry that I won't be here as often as I want to be but that's what Sunny is for" as she quickly pointed at our German Shepard.
"Well I have to go to school" I quickly ran out the door and jumped in my car. As I arrived to school I was nervous. I had no idea how the students were here and how they would react. When I finally found a parking a car swooped in and stole it from me. Before I could even react the driver of the car got out "Better luck next time Love".
He grabbed his backpack and pushed his hair out of his face as another guy got out of the car as well.
I was furious but I just continued on my way for a new parking.
