The Innocent and The Evil

Sarah never mentioned the whole 'your love life is now doomed' thing after that night. Which was three nights ago. Harry is mighty cute and would not mind him and I getting friendly but he just, scares the hell out of me and Sarah was deffinetly right. A guy hasn't given me a second glance since that night. I mean I'm not the most attractive girl, especially next to Sarah. She's drop dead gorgeous and I'm just, average.

"Whatcha thinkin' about, babes?" Sarah asked me. We were currently at Zayn's house, Sarah's boyfriend, watching a movie. "Nothing. Just tired." I lied. Zayn chuckled. We both looked at him in confusion. He looked at us and said, "Look, I know Harry, he's a personal friend of mine and you might want to get use to it that, sweetheart, you're gonna be his in a matter of maybe a month. Harry gets what he wants and he wants you." I tried to shrug it off but we all know I'm thinking about it.

"Which reminds me, the guys are coming over in 20 minutes, so if you don't wanna see 'em, you guys might want to leave now." Zayn offered. I nodded and stood up, but sarah was still sitting cuddled up to Zayn. "I dont want to leave yet, I haven't seen Zayn in nearly a week and I'm not ready to leave." Sarah huffed. Whining, I replied, "But you're my ride home! And I do want to leave. Id rather not see the 'guys' because I know Harry is coming with them. So please, with everything that's holy, CAN WE LEAVE?!" She simply shook her head at rant and drapped a quilt over her and her lover. I sighed, defeated, and sat my unhappy ass back on the couch where I was before.

That 20 minutes rolled around a little too fast for my likeing. The knock on the door made me slightly jump. Sarah giggled at me while Zayn got up to answer the door. They all filed in. Niall, Louise, Liam, and finally, Harry. He looked at me and smirked. While everyone else sat on the opposite couch, he squeezed in between me and sarah, causing me to press my body to arm of the couch. Harry slung his arm around my shoulders.

"Could you not?" I asked while pushing his arm from around me. He growled but didn't say anything. I lowered my head as everyone started talking. I didn't even know what they were talking about-

"-Frankie doesn't want to, Harry..." I heard Sarah. I snapped my head up to see everyone looking at me. "What...?" I asked. The boys were looking at me, amused, Sarah was glaring at Harry and Harry, oh Harry.... He was looking at me with, hope? No... "I'm so confused..." I tried to laugh off my stupidity, but it only made it more awkward when no one laughed with me.

"Will you," He started off slowly as if I was a small child, "Go with me to dinner tonight?" I looked at Sarah for help but before she could even shake her head Harry grabbed my jaw with his large hands and jerked my head towards his, then stared into my light eyes. "Don't look at her. Look at me and tell me, do you?" He asked. Although I know damn well this is not a good idea I find my self nodding.

Harry smiled which revealed his dimples and I almost melted right then and there. I'm a sucker for dimples. I heard a grumble of a strung out "Fuck" from Sarah. I sighed and thought, well, there's no backing out now.

Later that night

It was 6:56 and Harry was supposed to be here at 7. Sarah was finishing up my make up. I was wearing a navy blue dress that was mid thigh with silver flats.

"Okay, all set. And If I doin say so myself, you look mighty pretty. Though I do not agree with this, I am your bestfriend and want you to be happy. But why did you say yes?" She asked for about the hundredth time tonight. "Because, I actually think Harry's really cute and nice. I would like to give him a chance." She rolled her eyes. "But he's not nice, Frankie! He fucks and dumps sweetheart. Look, I'm not saying he doesn't like you, I'm just saying, be careful, please? If not for me, for yourself. Okay?" I nodded at her mini rant. I looked down at my phone and it was 7.

Then there was a knock on the door...


Harry's POV

It was 6:45 and I'm sitting in the driveway. I'm actually nervous. She makes me nervous. A tiny girl like her has such a effect on me and I'll never understand it.

When 6:59 rolled around, I got out of my truck and walked to her door. It was now 7, so I knocked 3 times. I heard someone coming down the stairs and the door opened. I was disappointed to see Sarah.

She rolled her eyes. "She'll be down in just a moment. She couldn't find her necklace." I nodded and just a second later she desends herself from the stairs. I smile widely and shove my hands in my pockets, thumbs sticking out. She walked up to me, clutching on to her wrist purse. I smirked. I make her nervous.

"You look very nice, Frankie." She blushed and lowered her head. I grabbed her chin with thumb and index finger. "Don't do that.."

"Do what?" She asked. I smiled slightly. "Hide your face when you blush. Its too cute to keep hidden." I said while pushing a curled piece of hair behind her ear. She blushed again, and I could tell she was fighting to hide it.

I grabbed her hand and pulled her to my truck. Where I opened the door for her.
"Harry! Come 'mere!" I rolled my eyes. "I'll be right back." She nodded and buckled herself in while I closed the door and walked up the porch.

"You even try to touch her tonight, so help me god, I'll-" "You'll what?" I challanged, taking a step towards her. She was silent. "That's what i thought. Look, I actually like Frankie, so stay out of the damn way before you get yourself hurt." I growled close to her ear. She gasped. "Are you threatening me, Harry Styles?" Sarah asked, appalled. I laughed minacly. "That's me promising you, Sarah House." I stepped back, winked at her, and walked back to the car.

"What'd Sarah want?" Frankie asked. I shrugged. "Just to say that she hopes we have a good time and she's happy for you." I lied through my teeth.

Tonight should be nice...
