Back To December

I finger combed through my auburn hair and parted my hair on the side. My bangs fell in front of my eye and I pushed them behing my ear. I left my hair as it was, natural beach waves.

I sighed, my clock read 6:10. Harry and his parents would be here in about 5 minutes. I felt a sudden pain in my stomach, almost like knifes stabbing me. I guess I was nervous for tonight and what would happen..

The pain was really starting to bother me. I clenched my stomach in pain and tried to walk over to the bed and lay down. When I get nervous, my stomach starts to hurt really bad, kind of like when you’re on your period..

My phone was right next to me, I picked it up and decided to call Charlotte and tell her about Harry and his family coming over.

The phone rung twice and then she picked up.

‘’Hello?’’ She asked.
‘’Hey, guess what.’’ I said.
‘’What?’’ she questioned.
’’You’ll never believe this.‘’ I started.
’’Just tell me!‘’ Charlotte exclaimed.
’’Okay, okay. Well my mom invited Harry and his parents over for dinner.’’ I said.

I felt all the blood drain from my face when I said his name.

‘’Your mom did what!?’’ Charlotte yelled.
‘’I know.’’ I said then sighed.
‘’Oh that sucks.’’ Charlotte said.
‘’Tell me about it.’’ I replied.
‘’Well try to have fun, I have to go.’’ She said.
‘’Okay thanks. Bye.’’ I said.
‘’Bye.’’ was all she said before the other end of the phone clicked.

I hung up my side of the phone and chucked it onto the bed.

‘’Kylee!’’ my mother called excited. ‘’Yes.’’ I called back.

‘’Come out here, Dinner is ready.’’ my mother said.

You could hear her little high heels click against the wooden floor boards in our house.

I heard other feet movement along the floor also.

My eyes widened. They’re here.
