’’I’m on my way over.‘’ I said into my phone. ’’Okay, just hurry up. I made us some popcorn and it’s about to rain.‘’ Charlotte answered into the phone. ’’Okay, be there soon.’’ I said and hung up.

My homework was already done so I was now on my way to Charlotte’s.

Charlotte was right, on our way to her house, it had started to pour. Through the rain I saw a an old, victorian house that stood in the distance.

My mom pulled up in the driveway and stopped the car. ‘’Call me when you’re ready.‘’ my mom said. ’’Okay.‘’ I replied before slamming the door and running in the rain to Charlotte’s front porch.

I knocked slightly on the door and Charlotte answered a moment after. She let me inside. Her house always smelt good like peppermint and gingerbread.

I walked over to the couch and sat down.

‘’I got Texas Chainsaw Massacure!’’ Charlotte exclaimed. ‘’Yes!’’ I said excited. Texas Chainsaw Massacure was my favorite movie of all time! Charlotte put the movie in and the previews started playing.

When the previews were over, Charlotte hit play and we started to watch the movie digging into the popcorn every 5 seconds.

Charlotte had long brown hair with light green eyes. She was really athletic, she played sports like cheerleading, soccer, track, and lacross. Me on the other hand liked to do Photography, write, and sing.

She was slightly taller that me. When I first met her, I was suprised she wasn’t hanging out with Harry and Felicity.. She’de fit right in. Charlotte was really pretty but then I understand why she wasn’t hanging with them. Charlotte was nice.

A Couple Hours Later….

My mom honked her horn and I said goodbye to Charlotte and ran outside to the car.

The rain had cleared up for the most part.

‘’Did you have fun?’’ my mom asked. ‘’Yup.’’ I replied. My mom had asked me what I wanted for dinner. ‘’Ummm tacos.’’ I said. Tacos were my favorite food.

‘’I wanted to tell you, I invited some guests over tonight that you know….’’ my mom said paying attention to the road ahead of us. ‘’Oh yeah? Who?’’ I questioned.

‘’Mr and Mrs. Cox.’’ my mom said casually.
