We looked up at the sky, it was starting to thunder and there was lightning flashing in the dark, gray sky.

‘’We better head back to the house.’’ Harry suggested.

Blujeans started to jump in the barn. She hated this kind of weather.

I ran over to her and rubbed her nose. ‘’Shhh, it’s okay.’’ I said reassuring.

I glanced over at Harry, he was on his iphone.

‘’Hey, come check this out!’’ Harry called at me from the other side of the barn.

‘’What?’’ I asked running over to him.

Harry pointed at the weather app. It said there was going to be a blizzard coming.

I looked up at Harry, the rain on the roof of the barn had changed from a slight tapping to golfball sized hale.

‘’Darn it! We have to get back to the house.’’ Harry said.

‘’I know, but we can’t run outside with golfball hale flying down at us. We could get hit in the head and go unconsous.’’ I replied.

‘’The tempature had dropped down to 30 dgrees.’’ Harry said examining his iphone.

‘’What are we going to do?’’ I asked.

Harry put his iphone back in his pocket.

Harry sighed, ‘’I could run to the house and get us-’’

‘’No Harry, you’ll get hurt out there. I won’t let you leave.’’ I said grabbing his arm.

‘’But Ky-’’

‘’No Harry. Please, you could get hurt. Just stay here with me.’’ I whispered.

Harry nodded his head and walked over to the wooden wall and sat down.

He patted the ground for me to come sit next to him.

I walked over to him and sat down.

He pushed my head to his chest and started to rub my back.

The hale wasn’t going to clear up for a bit. We were going to be stuck here for a while.
