A Love You Can't Escape
Chapter 1
Brooklyn’s P.O.V
“Brooklyn! Spencer is here!” Ruth yelled up the stairs. She and Nicola are visiting our parents and I this week.
“Ok send him up he knows the way.” I said closing my book and fixing my glasses. I set my book on my nightstand as Spencer walked in.
“Hey hey.” He said jumping on my bed and sitting across from me.
“Hey what are you doing here?” I asked looking at my phone to see if Justin had texted me. Justin is m
“Umm I just saw Justin kissing Taylor.” Spencer said looking at me. I didn’t respond I just sat there in shock.
“Hey mom wants to know if Spencer is staying for dinner.” Nicola said walking into my room. He nodded his head and she could tell something was wrong so she left us alone.
“Brooke talk to me.” He said shaking my shoulders. I looked at him as I felt the lump in my throat grow.
“It’s fine. It’s my fault anyways. Lets go downstairs.” I said standing up and wiping my tears away. When we got downstairs I found my dad and Ruth sitting on two couches. I went and sat next to my dad with Spencer on the other side.
“Hey bubba.” My dad said looking at me. I looked at him and began to cry. He pulled me into a hug and just let me cry. When I was done I pulled away from him and he wiped my tears away.
“What’s wrong?” he asked me. I looked at Spencer and nodded my head.
“Justin was cheating on her.” He said. My mom and dad consider Spencer another son since we have known each other since we were four.
“I’m going to kill him.” My dad said standing up and walking to the door. Ruth stood up and blocked his way.
“Dad calm down.” She said looking at him. He sighed and walked upstairs to his study.
“I’m going to see if Li cam Skype. Who wants to join me?” I asked standing up and looking between my best friend and sister.
“I will.” Spencer said standing up and we walked to my room. I texted Liam to see if he was free. He said he was so I turned on my laptop and then called Liam. When he answered I heard a door close.
“Hey Lyn.” Liam said knowing I hate it when he calls me Lyn even though he is the only one I allow to.
“Hi Li Li.” I said smiling as Spencer rested his head on my shoulder.
“Hey Spence.” Liam said. In reply Spencer waved back.
“How’s tour?” I asked.
“It’s great. Sorry I missed your guys’ graduation.” Liam said. Spencer and I both shrugged it off. We Skyped with Liam for another hour before he had to go, but before we ended the call Liam said he talked to both of our parents and we will be joining the boys and their girlfriends. Which means I get to see my other best friend and Niall’s girlfriend, Desirae!
“When are we leaving?” I asked.
“In two days. I got to go. love you sis.” He said.
“Love you too bye.” I said ending the call. Spencer and I looked at each other and then we both screamed causing my mom to open my door.
“Are you two ok?” she asked us. We nodded our heads and then she rolled her eyes and walked out of my room.
“I have to pack! Love ya bitch!” Spencer shouted leaving my room.
“Language Spencer!” my mom shouted from her room.
“Sorry mama Payne!” Spencer said. Once he was gone I stood up and walked to my closet to get my suitcases out. I placed them on my bed then turned on my radio and opened all my drawers. I finished packing at 8 and then my mom called me down for dinner.
“So are you excited to go on tour?” my dad asked me. I nodded my head. After dinner I went back to my room and fell asleep. I’ll deal with Justin tomorrow.
Two Days Later
Today is the day that Spencer and I fly out to Ireland. My mom and dad drove us to the airport since Ruth and Nicola left to go back to their houses yesterday. When we got to the airport my dad carried my bags to baggage check. We walked towards the gate and stopped right before we got to it.
“Listen to me. Don’t get hurt, don’t get drunk or do drugs, but most importantly come back to me.” My dad said.
“Dad I’m going on tour with my brother. Trust me I’ll be fine.” I said hugging him.
“Ok well then promise me you’ll have fun.” He said. I smiled and nodded my head then went to hug my mom.
“Tell your brother I love and miss him.” My mom said. I nodded my head.
“Ok we have to go now.” I said giving both my parents another hug. They told me they love me and told Spencer to watch out for me causing an eye roll from me and a chuckle from Spencer. We walked to the private jet that Liam had got for us. Once we were on it and it took off Spencer began to freak out. I rolled my eyes and then closed them and fell asleep. I woke up to Spencer shaking me.
“Hey we are about to land in an hour so you might want to go change.” Spencer said. I stood up and grabbed my backpack with my clothes in and went to go change, when I walked back to my seat there was only ten more minutes to go.
“Your brother is going to freak.” Spencer said as I sat down.
“What do you mean?” I asked knowing that he was talking about my shorts. Spencer gave me the look he always gives me when he knows I know what he is talking about. I sighed.
“I don’t get why though. I mean I am 19 now.” I said.
“Because you’re his baby sister and he loves you.” Spencer said pinching my cheeks making me to slap his hand away. We sat and talked until we landed and then we basically ran off the jet. When we walked into the airport I instantly spotted my brother since there were a bunch of screaming girls surrounded him. I handed Spencer my back pack and bag and ran and jumped on Liam’s back.
“What the…” Liam began before I cut him off.
“Don’t say it or I’m tell mom.” I said getting off his back. He turned and embraced me in a huge bear hug.
“Still need air bubs” I said gasping for air very dramatically since he was hugging me so tight.
“Where’s Spencer?” he asked I pointed behind me to where I saw him struggling trying to carry all our luggage. I ran to help him then walked back to Liam.
“Ready to go guys?” he asked. I nodded my head and Liam put his sunglasses down.
“When we walk out Lyn you stand between Spencer and I and keep your head down.” Liam said. I nodded my head and then we walked out. There were screaming fans and paparazzi everywhere once our bags were in the trunk we all climbed in and I let out a sigh of relief.
“You need longer shorts.” Liam said from his spot in the driver’s seat. Spencer turned and looked at me from the passengers’ seat with a look on his face saying I told you so. I flipped him off and he turned around chuckling.
