Prisoner (Harry Styles AU)

“I hope everyone knows what to do?” Noah asked yet another time. Harry rolled his eyes at me and I burst into a fit of laughter and mouthed a ‘shut up’ before giving Noah my attention again.
“We’ll be back before the night falls” Niall said with a very poetic voice.
“Horan, don’t be ridiculous” I pinched his arm.
“Autch, Sam!” he protested rubbing his hand over the red spot. I just grinned and walked away. Sophie and Rosalinda were already walking in the direction of the woods. Since more and more people were added in our ‘little group’ we ran out of food and water, so we had to find new nourishment.
Rosalinda took off her shirt and laid down on it. She closed her eyes and smiled slightly at the sun. Sophie raised her shoulders and mimicked Rosalinda’s actions. I sat down before the two of them and we talked for hours, me speaking to four closed eyes, but it was nice. I had a nice time.
“Do you think they would get suspicious if we bring only four coconuts and a few oranges?”
“Just tell them we’ve been searching for hours” Rosalinda laughed and we both laughed along. We kept chatting joyfully until we reached the beach again. I searched for Harry, but I didn’t find him.
“I’m going to sleep for a bit, haven’t slept that well yesterday.” I said and laid down on the warm sand.
“We’re not good enough for you, huh?” Sophie winked to Rosalinda and I just rolled my eyes ignoring the two. “I get it, I mean Harry’s hot”
“How many times do I have to tell you guys that we’re just friends, like you and me” I sighed not even doing effort to open my eyes.
“Fine, not that you’re going to admit it anyway” Rose sighed and walked away.
I woke up from an incredible hard scream, I shot straight and tried to take my surroundings in. What the fuck is happening. I looked around and saw the familiar mop of curls. I smiled faintly and stood up and walked into his direction. People were screaming and it made me even more confused.
“What is happening?” I asked and placed my palm softly on Harry’s back. Harry turned around and I stepped back in horror. Harry’s eyes were out of control and petrified. He ignored me and ran into the other direction.
“Niall, what’s going on” I grabbed his shirt and his eyes were the same as Harry’s.
“W-we were w-walking, god” his hands were shaking and tears were welling in his eyes.
“Niall, calm down” His reaction scared me even more.
“We were walking a-and we saw a tiger. So w-we freaked out, gosh I can’t believe this” he pulled on the roots of his hair.
“You saw a tiger?”
“Yea, and he attacked us because we got scared and ran away”
“He attacked you?” I asked again in disbelief.
“Are you alright?” I took both his shoulders and checked him from head to toe. Niall burst out in tears and his fingers were balled in a fist and the fist was flying in every direction. His brought his fist to his face and his body was shaking from the effort. Seeing him like this made me want to rip out the lump in my throat. It was heartbreaking. He was helplessly tugging on his hair again and his body kept shocking and letting out awfully shattering sobs.
“I-I am, but” Harry was fine right? “Lucas” what? No? I ran in the direction were Harry ran to a few minutes ago and came face to face with a collection of red flesh on bones. My hands shot to my head and I felt on my knees. Harry came rushing to me and pulled me away from what used to be my friend. Not even five minutes later I heard helicopters in the air. A guy came down with a stepladder and took the ‘body’ with him.
“Is this what you fucking want?” I screamed through my tears.
“Baby, please.” Harry’s hands were gently tugging at my arm, but I was not done yet.
“Fuck you all, I wish I could say go to hell” the man looked to me and shoot me a pitied smile. “But.. I don’t want to see you anymore” I whispered. “Hell’s full of sick people like you” Harry lifted me from my knees and carried me away from the beach.
“It’s okay” he kept whispering. He put me down on the ground and kneeled before me. He tucked my hair behind my ear and kept looking at me with an unreadable expression. “Look at me” He demanded and took my cold and wet cheeks in between his hands. “Look at me” he said again. “Sam goddammit look at me.”
“I told you they’re waiting until there’s one survivor, a sick version of the Hunger Games” I ignored him and stared into the distance instead.
“That’s not true, we’re leaving this damn island” I was still not looking at him, but I swear his jaw is clenched. “Soon”
“I’m so angry” tears were starting to form in my eyes again.
“I know you are” his thumb caressed my cheek carefully.
“Is this something we have to do?” I spit out the words and finally look into the only things that could make me feel better. When his emerald eyes looked at me with this shade of darkness, I instantly felt weak.
“Have to do what?” he whispered slowly, like he noticed how weak I suddenly was.
“Laughing. Looking at things that make you fragile and laugh” I whispered back and kept looking into his eyes. Because I was afraid if I didn’t I would snap. Our noses were almost touching, he didn’t answer me instead I looked at him through the waterfall that were falling out of my eyes.
I placed my hands over his and carefully took them of my cheeks. Instead I placed my head on his left thigh, closed my eyes and kept letting the tears fall. I felt something placed over my body as I fell asleep.
I woke up still crying and Harry was still sitting straight, staring into the distance. But he moved, he was leaning against a tree. I lifted my head and he looked at me giving me an adorable smile.
“Are you feeling better?” He asked.
“Not really.” I confessed and leaned my back against the tree as well.
“My ass is sore, but I didn’t dare to replace your head.”
“So instead you moved us both”
“Exactly” A small smile was lingering on his lips.
“dork” I yawned and placed my head on his shoulder. “ I don’t want to go back” I confessed.
“I wonder what the time is” I wondered out loud.
“Around four AM. Oh god I have an idea” he literally jumped on his feet and pulled me with him. We walked and after too long of walking we ended up on the same spot I adored so much and really wanted to see the sunset.
“You’re the best” I spoke honestly and sat down looking at the pine trees and waiting for the sun to wake up.
“Do you want to talk?” He asked.
“No” I breathed out. He didn’t even answer we waited for the sun and when it was there it literally took my breath away. “This is so breathtaking”. I stood on my two feet to look even better at the incredible view. We were so high, if I jumped now I’d be dead. Harry took my wrist and turned me around. He traced his thumb over my lower lip.
“Look, I know you don’t want anything between us. But if I promise you it won’t make a difference between the two of us, can I please just peck your lips one time?” He leaned closer and hovered over me. I nodded faintly. His breathe fanned over mine and only minutes later after heavy breathing he planted his lips softly on mine. It didn’t even last for two seconds, but it was enough for my heart to fill with poison. “This is where I live for” he whispered and traced his thumb over my lower lip once again. “Let’s go back”. Just like nothing happened he waited for me on the bottom of the cliffs. “Hurrryyy!”he complained. We walked in silence to the beach. Four cops and a plain were next to our camp ‘Nando’s’.
“What’s going on?” Harry asked.
“It’s been over six months” the guy explained and shoot us a smile while gesturing to the plane.

I don't know if I need to write an excuse.. But school is literally killing me. Anyway, I think I find it worse than you that I wasn't able to update hahaha :) anyway have a nice weekend
