Chapter 1
CAT'S P.O.V
"Bye Phillip." I yelled as I left work.
It was getting colder around this time. Sometimes I wonder if we ever get a summer really. I wrapped myself up in my jacket as I began my 5 mile walk home.
yeah 5 miles. I don't have a car and I don't own any transportation device I don't have enough money for train or bus. I was poor. okay let me tell you who I am.
My name is Catrina, but I go by Cat and only Cat. I live in Holmes Chappel, England. Its a small town. I work at the diner at the end of the town. I am poor very very poor. I live in an abandoned house on the bad side of the town. My mom kicked me out at 16 because I got a small tattoo of a key on my wrist. I went to an orphanage but they abused us orphans . I found the abandoned house and moved in , got a job , cold water , and 2 outfits not including my work clothes. my hair is blonde and curly and I have the ugliest pair of blue eyes. okay back to my story.
I was about 2 miles from home , but then I got this feeling like someone was following me. I turned around and saw nothing. not even light from the street lamps. what is going on?
I started to walk faster than a normal walking pace. I heard footsteps behind me this time so I just went of in a full on sprint. when I got far away from the noise I slowed down to breath , but the footsteps came back.
I turned around to be met with glowing red eyes and shiny white sharp teeth. His hair was falling over his face in brown curls. His jaw line was prompt , and he was tall like I had to look up to see him .
"Why did you run babe?" He said . His accent strong and his breath smelled of something strange.
I just stared at him not wanting to answer.When I didn't answer his eyes got brighter. I was terrified .
"answer me !" he raised his voice making me jump.
"I-I w-was s-s-c-ared" I said my shuddering worse than what it normally is.
" don't be scared just close your eyes and be still."
I did as told and he tied my hands together , blindfolded me , tied my ankles and threw me over his shoulder. I felt wind rushing through my hair as it would if I was riding in a car.
WAIT!!!I JUST GOT KIDDNAPPED!!!!!!!!!!
