Just Another Fairy Tale

*Amanda's POV*


I wake up cuddled up with the boy from last night. Our legs tangled together, My arms wrapped around his torso and his arm around my shoulders keeping my warm even though we're under a blanket. The one I kept from walking away. My so called 'Boyfriend' I look up and see he's already awake. On his phone. I yawn, causing him to look down at me.

"Look who's up." He chuckles to himself.

"What time is it?" I ask sitting up, unwrapping my arms from his torso. He unwraps his arm from me. I hug that arm and place my free hand on his chest.

"It's 10:20." He says.

"Do you remember me?" He asks. I sadly nod 'no' I hear him sigh.

"Do you think this could be a sign?" I ask. He looks at me like I'm crazy.

"A sign for what?" He asks.

"That we shouldn't be together.." I mumble. For some reason it hurt so much to say that.

"Why would you say that?" He asks.

"Well.. If your girlfriend all of the sudden doesn't remember you at all, not even your name, maybe you guys just weren't meant to be. Maybe the universe is telling you to move on because there are many more girls out there, prettier than I am." I say. He shakes his head, telling me he doesn't agree.

"N-No. We were meant to be. I love you.. and you love me." He says. I stare at him.

"I can't love you. I-I don't. Y-You're just some stranger." I say, stand out of bed. He reaches for me.

"No, we've been dating too long for you to say that." He stands too.

"M-Maybe you should just.... Just keep swimming. The perfect girl is on her way." I mumble.

"As much as this hurts me for some reason, you should keep swimming." I slowly nod.

"N-No! Amanda you're my other half! I don't want anyone else, I want you!" he snaps. I flinch back.

"N-No babe I didn't mean to scare you. B-But I love you." He steps forward.

"I-If you really loved me, you would've never let this memory thing happened." I mumble.

"What do you mean?" He asks.

"I mean if you really loved me, you would've been there at the mall with Eleanor, Perrie and I when I got kidnapped. You would've been captured with me, hung by the neck. You would've been by my side when all this happened, if you really loved me." I mumble.

"You told me it was a girls day out.." He mumbles.

"I don't remember that." I say.

"Because you remember nothing that has to do with me!" He yells.

"I t-think you should go and keep swimming. I'm not your girl." I say and walk over to the window.

"E-Excuse me.." He mumbles after a moment of silence.
