I smelt his delicious blood from where I was sitting.

At first I couldn't believe that such a Geek in the human society could give of that overpowering scent.

I looked at him up and down with interest, I could smell his fear which just made him smell even better.

I was surprised as first to, you see the more delicious the human smells, the more power it gives the vampire who drinks their blood, it also means that if they were ever to get turned into a vampire they would be extremely powerful and dangerous.

I frowned thinking hard, I needed a body guard, someone stronger than me to protect me from some vampires that were coming after me.

But at the same time, how on earth could this nerd become a vampire?

He didn't look tough or strong, he looked like a wimp.

I know your personality and your looks change as a vampire especially at night but still as I looked at the nerd I couldn't see how his skinny frame would be of use to me.
