Before I Met You

"I..Uh... well..." i stuttered.
She looked at me and lifted an eyebrow.
i look into her eyes.
She had the most beautiful brown eyes i have ever seen.

"Well what?" she asks.
I snap back into it.
"I really didn't mean to hurt you like that Olivia." i say.
"She shakes her head and starts to strum the guitar.
"I didn't know you played." i say going over and sitting next to her.
"I learned when i was 7." she smiles.
"You have a beautiful voice too." i smile.
She blushes.
"I really didn't want anyone to know about that... Promise you won't tell?"
"I promise."

"My dad built me this guitar." i say.
"That explains 'Olivia' on the front of it in big letters." i smile.
She laughs.

"Really though... i am very sorry. you are the only girl i have ever loved." i say.
She shakes her head again.
"Zayn... i loved you too... but you kinda broke me." she says.
"I know but-" she cuts me off.
"Zayn... we just... we should be friends for a little while... at least until i'm ready to get back together with you." she says.
I nod.
"And i'm ok with that... just as long as i can be around you." i smile.
She smiles back.

"Do you sing?" she asks.
"Kinda." i say.
"Ok... try to sing this." she says handing me a song that she wrote about how hard love can be.

Olivia's POV

Zayn and i have been hanging out alot.
I have helped him get together with girls.
We are best friends now.
And i think you music really brought us together.
Zayn is a great guy.
I'm still not ready to get back together with him yet.
I'm working on it tho.
























I still do love him deep down in my heart.
