What the hell was I supposed to do?

I paced back and forth in my room with my fingers crossed. I tend to do that when I'm nervous or anxious.

My dad poked his head in.

"Can you stop pacing? I'm trying to concentrate on my work, and it's hard enough as it is."

"Sorry."

I slumped down on my bed, and stared at the glow in the dark stars my mom had put up when I was really little.

I sighed. She would know what to do about this.

I had to figure out a way to apologize to Zayn, and soon. I didn't want him to refuse to work with me anymore. I needed the supplies, and I definitely couldn't figure out this project in my own. He was in AP Chemistry, after all. He had to have some brains.


Unless he cheated on the try outs. Seemed likely, considering it was Zayn.

Okay. Back to the problem at hand. I would just have to see if I could catch him after Chemistry, and apologize.

Three, two, one...

Ring, ring.

I jumped out of my seat to catch up to Zayn. I tapped on his shoulder. He turned around.

"Sorry I left so early yesterday. I was having a bad day. My dad was on-"

"Don't worry about it. I get it all the time anyway." He said bitterly. He turned around and walked away before I even got a chance to speak.



Well, that just happened. Aaaannnnd the late bell had just rung, so I was more then late for my next class.
