I bet you are probably thinking 'wtf? Vampires? Claimed? What have you been smoking?' The answer to the last one is NOTHING!!
It all started 1215, when the first vampire was created, no one knew about them until 2023 when they decided to take over the world of humans, because we where destroying the planet, it is now 2376

Then kings took over one by one killing each other to come to power, the current king was Abraham Tomlinson, his son was born 2 weeks after his father was turned, his mother was killed before she turned,

Anyway,I'm getting carried away, since vampires became our rulers they decided all females mortals could stay that way, until they were 20-25 they would then find out if a vampire wanted them, if so they must surrender their entire being to the highest ranking who wanted them,

but if you where not claimed then you could live however you wanted, so long as you showed your letter to a vampire when requested, other than that you were free and a vampire couldn't touch you unless you wrote down your consent for it, so I was free to live with harry forever, and I felt like I was floating
