Jessica's P.O.V

"HARRY" I screamed "the letter came!!!"
He came barrelling towards me his beautiful green eyes lit up like the fourth of July
"What does it say?" He demanded
"I don't know yet." I whispered staring at the envelope scared of what could be inside, its smooth white cover hiding its contents from me, this envelope holds my fate. Inside it will tell me if a vampire has claimed me or if I am forever free of them, choosing who I marry and where I live, whether I want children or not...
"Well open it!!" He said to me, cutting off my thoughts
"Oh, right sorry" I ripped open the envelope and stared at the paper uncomprehendingly

Dear Ms.Smyth
We regret to inform you that a vampire has not chosen you as his ideal mate, we know this news must sadden you and we apologize greatly for this inconvenience.

I whipped around and gave harry my most sad face I could,
" I have been claimed" I lied
His face fell immediately, he looked like he was going to cry, then I jumped on him, my legs wrapped around his waist and laughed,
"Gotcha!!!" I yelled and kissed him long and hard and like normal, sparks flew.
