They Might Be Mental

Sam’s POV:
I was looking through Niall’s records and writing things in.

“Hey babe” I looked up and smiled at Louis.

“Hey Lou!!” I yelled and jumped up from my seat. I gave him a hug and he hugged me back.

“How are you?” He asked.

“Good” I said and he looked at my hand.

“What happened love?” He asked.

“Patient bit my hand…there was a lot of blood” I said and Louis shook his head.

“Are you here for Niall?” I asked.

“Yup!” He said and I smiled.

“Alright” I said and he followed me to Niall’s room. I knocked on the door before walking in.

“Niall this is Louis Tomlinson, your lawyer” I said and Niall sat up and shook his hand.

“I’ll leave you two alone” I said and walked out of the room. I went back to my desk and saw Ryan. He looked up at me and smirked.

“So how is Kenny?” (the guy who bit me)

“He had a huge fit today. He was banging on the door and screaming. Liam went in and put him in a lock and eventually he calmed down and I gave him his pills. Then he threw the cup at me and bit me and punched me and then punched Liam and I left the room and Liam got him calm again” I said and Dylan looked at me with worry.

“Babe, I hate you getting beat up like this” He said and I shrugged.

“This is my job Hun” I said and he looked at me with a smile on his face.

“What?” I asked.

“You haven’t called me Hun since before we broke up” He said still smiling.
“I called you Hun?” I asked and he nodded.

“Oh” I said and he was still smiling.

“Oh well…what should we do about Kenny?” I asked and Dylan looked at the computer.

“Instead of three pills every five hours we are going to do two every three hours” He said and I nodded writing the change in his chart. Dylan signed it and then looked at me.

“Holly do you think there will ever be a chance between us again?” He asked and I bit my lip.

“Dylan I want there to be a chance just as bad as you do…but how do I know you won’t do what you did last time?” I asked.

“Because I realized how big of a mistake I made… Sam if you give me another chance I promise things will be different. Don’t you still love me?” He asked.

“Dylan… I never stopped having love for you….but I don’t know if I’m in love with you.” I said and he nodded.

“Well give me chance to make you fall in love with me again” He said I didn’t know what to say….

“Alright…but if this doesn’t work out it isn’t my fault ok?” I asked and he smiled.

“Yes!” He said and I laughed. He didn’t stop smiling and kissed my cheek.

“Dinner tonight?” He asked and I nodded.

“Sure” I smiled.

“Alright, see ya later babe” He said and smiled again before getting up and walking away. I sighed hoping I want making huge mistake…Kelsei came out of Harry’s room with a confused look on her face.

“You alright?” I asked.

“We kissed…” She whispered.

“What?” I asked.

“We kissed” She said louder and looked at me.

“We kissed…fuck Sam we kissed!” She said and looked upset.

“He isn’t crazy, is he?” I asked.

“No he isn’t…He was drugged” She said and I nodded.

“Dammit Sam we kissed” She said again and I laughed.

“Why is it such a big deal?” I asked.

“Because, my last relationship ended horribly and I promised myself that I wouldn’t fall in love so easily again…and this is the easiest I’ve ever fallen in love…dammit” Kelsei said and I sighed.

“Well I’m sure everything will be alright…just take it slower…don’t rush things” I said and she nodded.

“Ya think I made a mistake?” Kelsei asked.

“No…but I don’t think you should do it again just yet. Everything happens for a reason good or bad…you’ll just have to ride it out” I said and she nodded.

“You’re right” She said.

“Dylan and I are going out tonight” I sighed.

“What?” Kelsei asked.

“He convinced me to give him another try…so I am…but this is the last time” I said and she smiled.

“Get it gurl” She said and I rolled my eyes and through a paper clip at her. Louis walked out of the room and over to us.

“Hey, no fighting” He said and I looked at him.

“So…is he guilty?” I asked.

“Nope…well I don’t think so…not 100% sure but like 98” He said and I rolled my eyes and laughed.

“So who do you think did it?” I asked.

“Well apparently him and a couple friends were all having a big party. Niall passed out drunk. But we asked him who was at the party and he told us. We did a test on everyone who was there and they did lie detectors and drug test. A couple people were on acid and the lie detector came back false….so you might be getting new patients soon” He said.

“So Niall didn’t do it” I asked.

“Nope…but the judge wants to keep him in here until the trial is over” Louis said and I nodded.

“I would love to stay and chat but I have another patient on a different floor” He said and I nodded.

“See ya around babe” I said and he smiled before walking away.

“Is Niall cute?” Kelsei asked.

“Yes!” I said and she laughed.

“That was a quick response” She said and I laughed.

“Well at least I didn’t kiss him” I said and got up.

“Ey now…don’t start” She said and we both laughed. Niall’s bell went off and I went to his room.

“What’s up?” I asked.

“Can I take a shower?” He asked.

“Yeah sure go ahead” I said and sat in the chair.

“You’re staying in here?” He asked.

“Yes…is there a problem?” I asked.

“Oh no…” He said and went to get up. He started the shower but kept talking to me.

“So Sam…you know I’m innocent right?” He asked.

“Yes” I said and looked out the window.

“Did you know I had nothing to do with it?” He asked.

“Yes” I said.

“Well did you know I think you’re cute?” He asked.

“Yes….wait no” I said and he laughed.

“Are you in a relationship with that doctor?” He asked.

“Ummm…it’s complicated” I said.

“Oh I see…well I’m here if you ever need to talk” He said and I smiled.

“So, what about you? Do you have a girlfriend?” I asked.

“Nope” He said and walked out with only a towel wrapped around him. Man was he fit…he got them abs!

“Like what you see?” He asked and I blushed.

“I’ll go get you clean clothes” I said and walked out of the room. I got him clothed from the closet and walked back into his room.

“Thank you” He said as I handed them to him.

“You’re welcome” I said and he went to go get changed.

“Lunch is in five minutes” I said before walking out of the room.
