Through The Dark

Sophia's POV

I grimaced as I swung my legs out of bed. The knees were a bit sore, but I'd gone through much worse before.

The pain medication helped a lot, Exocet I think I've been out for a while. They just had a small scratch and a bruise.

It looked to be eight in the morning. I tiptoed across the room.

I turned the doorknob and pushed. The door didn't open.
"What the hell.." I muttered. I shoved the door again. Nothing.
I got on my knees and peered under the crack.

Aha! I turned the knob and pushed the door inwards, then back out, then in. Ashton, who was leaning on the door, Dell backwards, asleep. Well, not anymore.

"The hell?" He groaned, rubbing his head. I peered down at him.

"Sorry." I said. "What where you doing?"

Ashton shrugged his shoulders.
"I don't know. Harry and I must have fallen asleep talking."

"Harry? He's still here?" I asked, helping Ashton up.

He tensed up all over.
"Yeah. He's here."

I ignored the movement and rummaged in my drawers. Ashton went over and sat on my bed.
"Whatcha doing?" He asked.

I gathered my things, walking to the back of the room. I opened the door and stepped into the bathroom.
"Showering. I wanna go out today."

I tied the laces to the orange shoes I was wearing.

Luce walked into the kitchen.
"Are those my Converse?" She asked.

"Yeah." I said, grinning. "Tell me, how's it going with Michael?"

Luce smiled and leaned on the counter.
"Great. I think he likes me! Sarah: 0, Luce:1."

Luce always argued with a 5sos blogger that she would get noticed. Sarah said she'd never get noticed. Little did Sarah know that Luce was sleeping and breathing next to Michael Clifford.

"What about you and Ashton?" She asked.

I grinned and covered my face with my hands.
"I think we said we have feelings for each other. I said, my voice muffled.

"Do my eyes betray me? Is Soshton Jirwin real!" She shrieked.

"Luce! Shut up." I hissed.

Niall walked into the kitchen. He hopped on the counter and began to eat a banana.

"Hey. We should do something today." He said.

Ashton, Michael and Eric walked in.
"What are we doing today?" Eric asked.

"We making plans?" Harry said, entering the kitchen as well.

"How about, Universal Studios?" I said.

Everyone agreed. They all went off to prepare.

I stayed behind, catching up on Twitter. I guess Harry must have gone official with Cassia.

"How are the knees?" Ashton said.

"Oh. They're good. Sore." I said.

An an awkward silence ensued.

"Listen. What I said yesterday.." He began.

"I meant." I stated.

His face lit up. Ashton walked towards me. He placed a hand on my shoulder.
"I meant it all, too." He said.

I placed my hand over his, and pecked his cheek.

I wanted to show him, slow and steady.

Niall came down first.

"All right! Who's ready?" He said, grinning.

anywho, sorry for the delay. I think from now on, I'll mainly post every other day, and sometimes every day.

It's winding down at school, and promotion is a big thing at mine bc it's a Catholic school and I have a main role in the musical next week, and promotion is in 15 days!

it will be hectic. :( but not too much for me! :))
