Through The Dark

Hello Bogata

Sophia's POV

I have never felt so many emotions as I did when we
arrived to El Campin.

I was so happy to see the fans.

I was was terrified I would get booed.

I was nervous.

I was shocked.

Fans were formed around the stadium like a tight ring.
Posters, flags, waving hands, and singing fans greeted us.

Then came the chaos. It seemed that they all decided to run towards us, all at once like some army.

The security guards frantically hurried to finish closing up the entrance. The gates were being repaired.

"Go!" One of them yelled.

Our bodyguards pushed us inside through the exit.
I turned around to see the guards form a human chain and try to keep off the fans.

I sat on the floor of what I presumed to be backstage, laughing.

Michael walked over.
"You look like an insane mental hospital escapee."

I peered up at him, grinning.
"That was wild! When can we go interact?"

Michael shook his head before helping me up.
"We can't."

I looked him straight in the eye.
"I heard you love the fans the most. If you do, we can sneak out and go." I said, placing my hands on my hips.

Michael sighed. "Ten minutes. Go get changed." He said, walking away.

I was alone in this section. I walked around.
Where was everybody? I opened a door and peered out.

The immense sea of seats spilled out before me, the stage jutting out between the center.

"Wow." I exclaimed.

"Sophia? There you are. Backstage is this way." A team member said.

I followed her to the backstage/dressing room area.

"This is your room. Your stylist is inside." She said smiling.

I opened the door to find a large mirror radomes with bright bulbs facing me. A rack of clothes faced me, beside it a burry of makeup, and hair products. A brunette kneeled in the floor, rummaging through the box

"Um. Hello?" I said.

"Oh! Hi!" She exclaimed, getting up.

"I'm Sophia." I said, sticking out my hand.

She shook it. "Melissa."

"Listen. In ten minutes, Michael and I are sneaking out to interact with the fans. I need to change. And fast." I told her.

"Rebellious. I like you." Melissa smiled. "So, let's go casual for you, get out of your airport clothes, please."

I stepped behind the screen provided for privacy.

"Try this." She said, tossing a shirt over.

I put it on.

"Jeans or shorts?" Melissa asked.

"Jeans." I replied. A pair of light washed jeans landed on my feet.

"Shoes?"

"White converse." I replied, buttoning my jeans and walking out.

She handed me some socks and shoes.

"Sit. I'm going to wave your hair." She said.

I sat on the stool and put my shoes on while Nelissa fixed my hair.

I hopped off the stool when she was done.

"Lemme see." She said.

I turned and looked in the mirror.
Casual, and cute.

She snapped a picture with her Polaroid and waved it around.
I looked as she wrote "25. 4. 2014. Fan Interaction."

"I'm making a look book for you. Go, before it's late and sound check begins!" Melissa said.

I ran out and jogged to the entrance.

Luke and Niall stood alongside Michael.

"The more the merrier." I said.

We snuck out through the security gate and rounded the corner.

The fans went wild as we neared the barricade.

A girl with a bundle of white balloons began to cry.

Niall ran over to her first, but she shook her head, staring at me.

"She wants you!" Niall yelled.

I hurried to get closer to the barricade.

"Hi!" I said, smiling.

"Hello. I can't believe I'm meeting you. I've been a subscriber on YouTube forever!" The girl said.

"Wipe away those tears. Let's take pictures." I said.

She whipped out her phone and we took a bunch of selfies.

I glanced at the balloons.
"White? You remembered." I said.

Black and white roses were drawn on the balloons.

"They're for you." She handed them to me.

"Have a sharpie?" I asked.

"Yes." She handed one to me.

I signed a balloon for her and handed it back. I took off my shoe.

"You are my first fan. Sign my shoe?" I said.

Melissa would probably go crazy.

She signed her name in the outer side.

"Bye love!" I told her.

Niall and I posed for pictures, as well as with Luke and Michael.

Ten minutes later, we entered the doors.

I couldn't help but stare at my shoes.
Countless swirls of ink adorned them.
I was in love with them.

We entered the lounge. I tied the balloons into a chair.

"Where'd you guys go?" Zayn asked.

"To talk to some fans." I said, sprawling in the couch.

"Are you guys crazy?" Harry said.

"No." I said, opening a bottle of iced tea.

Paul came in.
"All right everyone. Sound check."

We decided to have some fun and hijack the golf carts.

Louis, Zayn, Calum and I got to one first and drive off.

We raced through the hall against Harry, Luke, Liam, and Niall, and Ashton and Michael.

We won.

The One Direction guys took over, starting out on Best Sing Ever. They were goofing off and having fun.

The fans went wild.

Each song, the fans would sing along or go wild whenever someone hit a high note. I swear to God the aliens could here them when Zayn sang his high note.

It was dark and cold by the time we finished.

More fans came during sound check.

Getting to the hotel was tough.

After checking in, we all settled in.

My suite overlooked the city.

I changed into some yoga pants and a white tee and curled up into bed.

(Too lazy to make a Polyvore edit.)

Tomorrow, my career begins.

Notes

So my mom and I were at home and she started telling me that my obsession wasn't healthy, and that I would be labeled as the girl obsessed with bands. She threw in some stuff about me being a teen and finding my self. She said it was a phase. A phase that has lasted for two years! She said I was so creative and could make a conversation about anything. Now she says I ignore everyone and I'm only interested in talking about my bands. She said she's scared for me.

And honestly, I am too.

There's not a lick of paint showing in my room. It's all posters. My phone has 2.2 GB of one direction and other band stuff. I only have band music on my phone. I draw on my wrists if random things. I spend hours on my fan account as well on YouTube.

Is my life really going to be like this, forever?
