Through The Dark

I choked on my food.
"What?" I asked.

Harry sighed.
"I asked, do you love Cassia."

I stared at my plate. "I really like her." I mumbled.

Liam excused himself and went to the living room.

"How long?" He whispered.

I ran my fingers through my hair.
"Since the day we met her."

Harry groaned. "Niall? Are you fucking serious? How.. Have you not made a move?"

Out of all things, he wants to know why I didn't try?
"Harry. You're my best mate. I'd never do that. I'm just trying to move on. She's yours."

He scowled.
"I mean. Was. I mean is. Or. I don't know. Mate, you really need to get your shit together. You.. You really messed her up."

Harry pounded the table with his fist. Our cups of coke sloshed over, but he didn't care.
"Do you know how much she messed ME up?!?" He yelled.
"I mean she broke up with me! And then she ran off to the States. And I tried to fix our relationship."

"No, Harry. You didn't. You turned around and drank yourself deep into shit. And then you sober up and screw with that American slut." I snap.

He stands up, knocking his chair down. He comes to my side and punches me . I fall. He punches me again, But I jab him back in the jaw.

"Do not call her a slut." He growls, elbowing me in the groin.
I groan and fall to my knees.
"It's true! You're wrecking both their lives! Using Kendall-" I begin to say, but he punches me square in the jaw. I spit the blood out. My tongue stings from where I bit it.

I knee him in the groin. By now, Liam comes on and separates us.

"The fuck is going on here?!" He yells. Harry is standing now, breathing heavily.

"listen, I went to far, but I'm speaking the truth. Lock the door when you leave." I say.

Liam am begins to speak, but I grab by phone and slam the door, deciding to go for a cup of coffee.
