Royals

Our hands were held together, locked in unity as we walked the crowded halls. We were walking to lunch. We passed many chipped lockers and passed multiple classroom doors, and many many kids. When we entered the lunch room we bee lined it straight for our table in the back corner.

Waiting for us at the table was a slouched Harry with his hair is his signature bandana,Louis in his kakis and toms, and Liam was by the trash throwing away what looked to be orange peels.

"Hey, love birds." I'm not sure who said this but they did a cat call after wards and I brought my hands up to my face to cover the blush that was created.

"Shut up." Niall laughed as we took our seats in the opposite side of Zayn and Harry.

They started to have a debate over what soccer team his and what player that. I soon zoned out because I didn't care about any of that. And I didn't need to.

I was so happy at that moment. I was free. I had people who loved me and that I loved just as much.

I remember walking down the halls feeling like someone was watching my every move, ready to pounce and break me in second. I remember the pain I felt when they would beat me up and hurt me. I remember going home and crying. I remember needing to write in my diary and it being my only friend in the world.

Now I have real friends. Who care and I don't feeling like I'm being watched. I don't feel vulnerable in the halls and I don't hate school.

Zayn and Ashley were expelled from school. I hadn't seen them since the day they packed their bags with their locker things and walked out of school with police escort. I felt bad for embarrassing them but not as much as it made me smile in triumph.

I was finally safe.

I was free.
