“Good job Krazy Misfits Dance Crew, take a break in five”, I walk over to my bag, and pull out my phone, 7 missed calls from Alex, my best friend, I decide to call her back, she answers on the third ring. “Hey Brooke”, Hey girl what’s up, “Could we meet up to talk in Al’s Coffee Shop at Five”, Yeah sure let me just finish up my last session, we have some onlookers and I want to show off, she laughs, “Lmao okay, see you then”, Alright bye, I put my phone back into my bag “KMDC, let’s get it, Mikey start the track”, the song ends and people outside nod and clap in approval, “Meet back here Friday at 3, people great job today, class dismissed, everyone files out of the studio, I leave last and lock the doors, it’s already 5 and Al’s is 4 blocks from here. I make it to see a nervous Alex through the window, this can’t be good, I think to myself. I enter the diner Alex looks up and smiles, I get over to the booth and squeeze her tightly “Oi, Brooke, I can’t breathe”, Oh sorry, she smiles, I sit across from her. So what did you want to talk about I ask her, her smile fades. “Brooke…. I’m leaving “, she chokes, tears fall onto the table, I stare at her in shock, “You can’t be serious, where are you going”, I ask tears threaten to fall but I can’t hold them back, tears stream down my face like a constant river. “The UK”, she whispers, That’s too far, I say, why do you have to leave anyways , “I can’t t-tell y-you”, Why the hell not, “ If I tell you they might come after you”, Who will come after me, Alex you’re not making any sense, what are you talking about, “They will come after you and they’ll know I told you and kill you and me, Alex who wants to kill you, do you want to call the police, I ask lowering my voice. “NO DON’T CALL THEM, YOU’LL MAKE IT WORSE, she screams. Everyone in the diner turns to look at me and my psychotic friend. I clear my throat, “Sorry, family problems”, they nod, and go back to their meals. “Alex let’s go somewhere else to talk about this okay, she nods, not meeting my gaze, meet me at the apartment. We go to our car and drive to her apartment; I unlock the door and turn on the lights and set my stuff on the couch, puffy eyed and faced Alex walks in a sinks into the couch. “Start from the beginning”, I say. “Okay, she began; I had gotten into some trouble with a gang and I accidentally gave something to their rivals now they want to kill me, well I’m not sure really but I know it’s something bad”, she looks down to the floor. WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU DOING IN A GANG, DO YOU REALIZE WHAT YOU ARE DOING IS WRONG I CAN’T BELIEVE THIS, THIS GANG COULD JUST BUST INSIDE THE APARTMENT AND KIDNAP US AND POSSIBLY KILL US, I CAN’T FUCKING BELEIVE YOU, I SCREAM.
Harry’s POV:
“Stop here”, I instruct Louis, he stops the van. I hop out and open the back, I put on my black gloves and mask, Liam and Louis do the same, we stop at the door and hear yelling, well screaming “ WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU DOING IN A GANG, DO YOU REALIZE WHAT YOU ARE DOING IS WRONG I CAN’T BELIEVE THIS, THIS GANG COULD JUST BUST INSIDE THE APARTMENT AND KIDNAP US AND POSSIBLY KILL US, I CAN’T FUCKING BELEIVE YOU, we walk to her apartment and bust the door open.
Brooke’s POV:
The door busts open and three men in mask enter the apartment. “Get them”, one of them commands. Two of them lunge at me and Alex, I’m not going down without a fight, I make my first move and punch him square in the jaw, and he holds his chin, and tries to punch me back, but I dodge it, and kick him where the sun doesn’t shine, he groans and fall to the floor, I see the other man trying to drag Alex out of the apartment, I charge at them knocking them down with a thud, the man groans, I kick him in the balls giving us a head start to get out of here, I grab Alex and we run as fast as our legs can take us, and run into a dead end , we both smack into someone, just as I’m about to explain myself about what just happened, I look at his face to see it is covered by a mask, another one comes behind him, “The other way, I scream to Alex, but we stop short to see the third one behind us. We both gulp in fear, they all laughed. “Did you seriously think you’d be able to escape me, Alexandra”, one of them asks. Alex doesn’t answer, I look at her and study her face; her gaze is cold and filled with anger. ”Thought so”, he steps closer I have Alex stand behind me. “Aw... Look boys, Alex has her own little bodyguard, what’s your name love, he asks. “Don’t call me that you little shit, it’s Brooke, What about you”, I ask. “Well my name is Harry, and this is Liam and Louis”, he says pointing to them, they step closer, Alex and I step sideways our backs touching the bushes. “Get away from us or else”, I threaten tears rush down my face. “Was that supposed to be a threat”, he steps way to close to my discomfort. “Yes”, I step even closer our bodies nearly touching. “Babe, you really don’t scare me”, “Never underestimate a person by the way they appear”, I grab his arm and twist it behind his back and slightly applying pressure, he groans, I face plant him into the grass, and put my foot on his back,” Had enough yet”, I asked. “Nope, he answers in seconds he turns and flips me over his shoulder, and I land with my back on the hard concrete, I hold back a scream and do a back flip, and my feet kick him and knock him down to the ground, I crawl on top of him and deliver a punch to his jaw and stomach, he throws me off of him and I hit the two other guys knocking them over. “I’M NOT GOING DOWN WITHOUT A FIGHT, I yell and get up my hands up in the air fighting position, Alex does the same, Harry charges at us along with the other guys, Alex and I look at each other, we both kick out our feet and hit them in their abdomens, they all double over in pain and start cursing like sailors. “Let’s get out of here, I tell Alex, we yell and run back to the apartment and flag down a white van with the words “Carpet Cleaning”, yes, were saved, I think to myself. The doors open, before I realize it’s a trap, there are more guys with masks. “You have got to be kidding me”, they smile and grab me and Alex, and we both squirm around. “Hold Still, damn Harry was right they are fighters”, it’s hopeless I whisper to Alex, I stop struggling letting them tie my feet hands and cover my eyes, I wince as the ropes cut into my wrist, “Alex Stop”, she stops and I hear them do the same thing they did to me. I feel the van do an abrupt stop and I jerk forward and hit my head on someone, “Ouch”, I yell slightly irritated. The van door opens, I hear Harry’s voice, and I automatically stiffen. The others come inside I feel someone sit in front of me, “Did you miss me?, A deep voice asks. Hell no; I think to myself, instead I don’t say anything, “Huh, babe”, I still don’t answer. “ANSWER ME WHEN I FUCKING TALK TO YOU”, he yells. I flinch, I feel him smile in approval, knowing that he frightened me. “GO TO HELL YOU FUCKING BASTARD, WHEN I GET MY HANDS ON YOU I’M GOING TO WIPE THAT FUCKING SMILE ON YOUR FACE AND THAT GOES FOR ALL YOU MOTHERFUCKERS, GO TO HELL ALL OF YOU, But babe--- DON’T BABE ME YOU--- he cuts me off and places a cloth in my mouth ties it to the back of my head. “Like I said before I’m already there”, he replies, it's the only thing i remember before falling into a deep slumber.
