half a heart

Shailene’s pov

I’ve been lying in bed relaxing since I woke up about an hour and a half ago not being able to pull myself out of bed. The sun is shining softly through the slightly covered window beaming onto me as I lay sprawled out across my empty bed. I had heard Louis get out of bed what seemed to be about 45 minutes ago but I could be wrong.

I only heard the water as it stopped running then within 20 seconds the bathroom door bursted open and out stepped Louis in all his hot glory and wrapped up in a towel that sits perfectly around his waist. He walked straight into our bedroom and came over to me. “Good morning beautiful” he said and came and kissed me stilled wrapped in his towel. I placed my hand on his neck while I lifted myself to sit up straight then moved my hand down and around to his chest slowly easing it down to his towel, gently slipping it off. “This would be a lovely way to start the morning” I say in between kisses as he came to lay with me on the now not so empty bed.We kiss intently and he pulls my shirt off over my head leaving me in just my bra and panties.

I smile into the kiss then he leaves to kiss to slowly kiss his way down my chest and stomach as i moan stopping above my panties. Then he just stands up with a smile and walks off to put some clothes on. I giggle and toss a pillow at him in a playful way. “Good morning to you too Lou” I say and wink at him. He winks back then continues changing into a black and white striped shirt and a pair of tight black jeans. It’s such a simple outfit but it suits him perfectly.

I get up to shower and change into my usual brightly coloured denim shorts and white shirt with a brightly coloured singlet so I can go out to breakfast or lunch with jenn depending on what time it is. We always do this at least once or twice a week for a moderate catch up of how we are going and how Louis and Zayn are. It’s nice to know that even though she isn’t going out with Zayn that are so close, like best friends like her and I but obviously different given the gender difference.

I have finished in the shower and decide to call jenn to see what’s going on… I stare awkwardly into space while the phone rings. “Hey shailene” she rings into the phone in her normal cheery voice. “What time are we going out to eat today?” I say back in an equally cheery voice. “I can’t go today I promised Zayn I would hang out with him…sorry” “it’s okay we’ll reschedule. I gotta go now haha bye” then just hang up then phone.

I wonder what I’m gonna do now. “do you want to come out with me to lunch?” he says distracting me from my thoughts. “I’d love to.” I say with a smile.
