Ariella's POV

After I hung up on everyone I left the booth and turned to see a very dumbstruck Louis.

"What?" I asked.

"What... What do you mean 'What?' Why did you hang up on him?!" He asked sternly.

"Well, we have to get on the train. And I hung up on them. Not just him."

"Still! He wanted to talk to you! Why didn't you let him?!" He was starting to become angry. Why though?

"We can talk when we get there but now we have to get on the train." I said calmly and began to walk into the apartment.

"You know you cant runaway from him forever you know?" He said as he followed me inside.

"I know. But I could try."

"Ari-"

"Lou, please."

He stayed silent looking at my face and seeing nothing but exhaustion and then dropped it.

"Alright. But you are going to talk to him when I bring you back right?"

"Yeah- Wait what? You're not going to stay?" I asked suddenly. He scoffed.

"I can't." He shrugged.

"Why not? My mom would be more than happy to enroll you into Oak Hills. You already seemed to go through your training. And you could stay with all of us. You and Niall can just pick up where you left off. Right?" I said with hope.. He just shook his head.

"That would just put you in a bigger risk." What?

"Of what?" I crossed my arms in front of my chest.

"Getting attacked by this guy again."

"Lou, if you haven't noticed already, I'm a spy in training. I think I am capable of defending myself in an attack. The school itself is armed and can take on any intruders so if they do happen to come after me we're ready. And you should stay. You said yourself if he saw you he would kill you."

"Really? Because when you were captured you didn't really put up much of a fight. That was one heck of a fight you put up there, really good job!! And I can handle myself." He said, note the sarcasm.

"My ankle was sprained!! I was at a disadvantage!!!" At this point we were yelling at each other.

"Don't use that tone of voice at me!"

"Well maybe I wouldn't have to if you would just stop talking false things about how and who I am!" He stays quiet so I continue. "You are honestly too quick to judge that you don't even know the real me! You think you do since Niall has spoken about me every once and awhile but you don't know who I really am, Louis. You don't know what I have gone through to get myself to where I am today, all of my training, getting through my life, NONE OF IT!" Tears were now about to spill out of my eyes.

"Don't judge me by the way I do because maybe that girl you see is probably not the real me." I whisper. The tears were escaping my eyes as I turned around and walked away.

Louis' POV

Wow.

There were now tears forming in her eyes, instantly making me feel like an arse.

"Let's just get to the train before we miss it." She quietly spoke while walking away from me. She grabbed the paperwork and the tickets that I have printed for the train and walked out the door. Guilt quickly washes over me and I know I have to fix it. I quickly run out of the room, headed to the rental office, handing him the rest of the money and catch up to her at the parking lot.

"Ariella-"

"Don't. Let's just go." And she continued to the street and hailed a taxi.

Once we arrived I grabbed the little amount of luggage that we have out from the trunk of the taxi while Ari payed the taxi driver. We walked to the train and gave the man waiting outside of it our tickets and found out seats. I placed our luggage in the compartment above our heads and took my seat across from Ari who was looking out into the distance through our window deep in thought. Soon the train began to move and she still hasn't said a word.

So I have taken the time to think. Since this is a 4 day trip, there is no way I could go that many days without speaking to her. Or anyone.

"Ariella?" I said cautiously.

"What is it, Lou?" She kept her gaze outside at the moving scenery, annoyance clearly in her voice. I cleared my throat.

"I would like to apologize for my actions earlier today. I didn't mean to snap at you and I'm sure that you are an excellent spy. I am truly sorry for what I said and I hope you could forgive me. Believe me when I say I am really sorry." I said with pleading eyes while scratching the back of my head. It took her a moment and I could tell she was processing my words in her mind. She finally looks at me for the first time since the argument and sighs.

"I forgive you. Just, please, don't do that again." I smiled and jumped over to her side and gave her a big hug. She giggled underneath me and I released the breath I didn't know I was holding. I eventually let go of her and went back to my spot across from her.

I don't know what Niall might have done to me if I brought her back all mad and upset. I honestly meant what I said to her. I didn't know I offended her that bad. I was just so upset that she didn't hear Niall out. What she said to me earlier still rung in my head..

"Don't judge me by the way I do because maybe that girl you see is probably not the real me."

On the outside she seems like a very strong girl that can take care of anything. Is she the opposite on the inside? A girl afraid of what comes her way? A girl that doesn't feel loved? A girl with high walls built around herself that no one can climb over? Niall probably knows that, which is why he hasn't stopped trying.

He probably got pushed off several times but he won't ever surrender until he gets over them, or at least break them down so she could let him in again. Were the people that were on the other end of the line already in? What about that Drake guy that she was with? Is he in or is he fighting as well? I think for me I've now gotten in, and there's no way I'm coming out. She seems broken and as a brother figure I plan to be for her, I will do anything to fix her up again.
