Drake's POV:

"Now, I can't find her..." I confessed to her friends when I found them at the bus what happened to Ariella. She's gone.. She was taken by Black Cove, still with a sprained ankle. I showed them the note, only for to be snatched from my hands by Josh as he read it for himself. He flipped the paper over to see another note on the back that I didn't see.

"What does it say Josh?" Nicki asked standing on her tippy toes to peer over his shoulder.

"It says: 'If you want to see the girl again come and give back what you took from us. -Black Cove'" He read aloud to the group. Everyone was silent from confusion.

"What did you take from them?" Josh asked me, crossing his arms across his chest. I had to lie.

"I didn't take anything from them! The only thing taken was Ariella herself." I lied, trying to convince myself more than everyone else.

"Well, we cant just stand around and wait for her to call us you know. We have to tell Mr. Watson and-" Seth said but was then interrupted by my alarming phone. I took it out and saw that there was an unknown caller ID wanting to face-chat me. So, I answered it.
Ariella's friends surrounded me as I waited for the call to come through. When the screen appeared, we saw many young men in dark blue coats, almost black and they covered the entire screen.

"Who are you?" I asked them slowly. They moved back away from the screen and revealed a girl with a swollen cheek and blood coming out of her mouth and her back to a wall with a guy wiping away the blood. They seemed to be in conversation. Her friends gasped around me at the sight.

"Ari." I said under my breath.

"You have read our note, now we await your response on when we will do the trade off." A voice from off the screen said. A man quickly appeared as the talking stopped, motioning one of the men away from him.

It was Walter. Damn it.

"Mr. Watson is working for the Black Cove?! Wow, did not see that coming." He chuckled. "I guess asking him is out of the question." Josh said, looking at Seth. He nodded.

"Where are you?!" I yelled.

"If you wish to know, meet me back where we mere, brushed-passed. Or else, the girl here gets it." Town square. I looked over to Ariella. I looked in closely to see her bruises with... Is that... Louis? He was an old friend of mine from my past. As he finished cleaning her face, she flicked her head back at the pain. Mr. Watson looked back to them and then back to us.

"Watson, out."

"Louis. Don't touch her you-" I started but then video chat was cut off.

"I knew he was trouble. Never trusted him when I first saw him." I admitted then immediately started running back the way I came. It was true. He and I never got along and he did seem familiar to me but I couldn't quite place it until now. I was soon pulled back by my arm. I looked back and saw Josh.

"Dude, are you crazy? You can't go alone. We are gonna help." She is our friend too you know."

He looked serious. I nodded my head in defeat He's right. We all quickly ran back to the bus. There was lots of traffic when we came and there still is.

"Alright. Whats the plan?" I said out of breath, once we reached the school gates. Everyone stayed silent.

"Well that's the thing, we need to come up with one." I sighed, dragging my palm over my face.

"Well, I can try to hack where the call came from and trace it back to its exact location?" Carie suggested.

"Good idea. Go do that and let us know what you find. Go!" I said while handing her my phone before she left. "What else are you guys good at that can help us out?"

"Well Ariella was our field operative, we could have had her looking around the area to see if they are re-locating." Seth said. "But, she's not here.. She's the reason why we are doing this in the first place. So all that's left is Nicki." He said flatly. I took that as offense and I couldn't let him get away with saying that.

"And is that a problem?!" I raised my voice and fisted his shirt around the collar and held him there against the wall until I heard his response. The anger was pulsing through my veins and there was no stopping it.

"Whoa!!! Drake, calm down dude! Let him go!" Josh called out. He grabbed my arm and pulled it until I was forcefully released.

"Can we please stick to what we have to do first?! We are on the same team so we have to act like one. Now, I suggest that you, Drake, be the second field operative with me, and Josh and Seth will be our eyes in the sky by helicopter co piloting each other, and Carie will work security cameras inside the building once we get in. Then we improvise once we get to Mr. Watson, get Ari out. Deal?" Nicki raised her voice and looked at the three of us. We quickly nodded our heads in agreement.

Damn. Isn't she supposed to be the quiet one? Yes..? No..? Oh well..

"Good. Now, lets see how our Carie is doing." She said smiling while turning to head to one of the computer rooms. Seth, Josh and I all shared glances of confusion and shock, but followed in her anyway, but at a safe distance. The quiet ones were always the most dangerous.

We walked into a large computer lab to see Carie in the center of many monitors and keyboards. Her fingers were moving incredibly fast among the keyboard and the touchscreen monitors. I couldn't keep up.

"Hey Carie, hows it going? Did you track back the call?" Nicki asked her kindly while putting her hand on her shoulder, glancing at the monitors in front of them. She just faced Nicki and they fist bumped while smiling. We gave a confused look. Was that girl code?

"What?" She said as she faced us.

"What was that for?" I asked. She just pointed to one of the screens that had the lobby where we just were. Oh. She heard the plan from Nicki. That's pretty good. These guys are trained really well.

"So did you trace it?" I asked. She faced back to the computers.

"Just... About... There! Got it. Its in the heart of the forest in the next country.. Wow." She said flatly.

"Well we are gonna go pack. We have to. For Ariella. Let's go. Bring the laptop so you don't
have to stay behind." I instructed Carie. We are soon to be on our way.

I hoped that Ariella was okay. Even though she is a spy, and can defend herself... I hope she's alright. Seeing how bruised she is now only scares me to what she will look like when we get her.

Yes, doing Drake's POV :) I will start doing other character's pov's as well, not just Ariella's later on.
