Chapter 3 Jess's POV
"Jess"Zayn said walking up to my table
"Yes"I said looking up from my phone
"Go on a date with Niall you might like him"
"No I don't know"
"Please you guys have so much in common"
"Fine"I said to shut him up. I like Niall but as a friend. I kind of like that curly haired boy. Harry. I mean could he get anymore perfect. With the nice car, the green eyes, the curly hair, and the dimples. Don't even get me started about his dimples. I was snapped out of my thoughts when Addy walked up to me
"Your going on a date with Niall" she spat
"Yeah but it's just as friends"
"Well good because I'm going on a date with Harry"
"Ok well if I get Niall to like you then you get Harry to like me" I said holding out my hand for her to shake she shook it
"Deal, here's the plan. You talk about me on you date and I will talk about you on my date and then we both get the guy we like"
"Good because I don't think Niall likes me" I said
"Yeah same with me and Harry he's not my type"
"Yeah I mean I can't go out with a shy guy. I'm shy and if we were both shy then who's going to talk on the date"
"Same with me and Harry if we both like to talk and then if we both talk and talk and talk on the date it will be boring"
"Ok good. Go tell Harry that you want the date to be tonight and I say the same to Niall" I told her. We stood up and she walked over to Harry and I walked over to Niall
"I'm Jess and I was wondering if"he stopped me
"Yeah my friends told me we are going on a date. Does tonight sound good" he said looking over at Harry and Addy. He's jealous
"Yeah sure how about when we are done here"
"Sure I'll drive you and then I'll drop you off back here"
"Ok"I said sitting down at me table
Addy ran back over to me
"Tonight he's taking me bowling like what the fuck bowling" she said waving her hands up in the air
"Well I like active dates"
"That sounded dirty" she said laughing
"I mean I don't like to sit and talk at some boring restaurant" and knowing shy guys that's where we'll go
"Well whatever but you have fun with your date, but not to much fun" she said walking away.

"Ok you may go" the principal said walking into the library. I walked up to Niall and smiled. We didn't say anything at all we just walked to his car. I got in and let me tell you it was AWKWARD
"Niall I'm just going to say it, but I'm going on this. I like you but as a friend. I hope your not mad"
"Oh thank god I was thinking the same thing. Your nice and shy like me. And your not really my type"
"Ow hurtful"I said laughing
"I'm sorry"
"I was kidding and I like boys who are popular"
"Like...Harry"
"Yeah and go on a date with Addy I know she likes you."
"She's on a date with Harry" he said with a hint of jealousy
"Yeah a fake one. She's supposed to be talking about me the whole time and I'm supposed to be talking about her through our 'date' but it looks like I just set you two up"
"Yeah well anyways do you still want to go out"
"Not really trust me if we do it will be boring"
"Ok I'll drive you back to the school"he said turning around. We drove back in silence
"So where did you park" he asked
"Other side of the lot"
"What are you afraid to scratch your car"
"I don't drive a car I drive a trunk and it's right there"I said pointing to it.
"Damn why such a big car" he said parking I front of it
"No truck and I used to live in Minnesota and my old drive way was steep and when it snowed you needed four wheel drive to get up or else you'd get stuck and it wasn't fun getting unstuck. I helped the neighbor kid a lot"
"So doesn't it get really cold in Minnesota like -20 degrees"
"Up there that was a heat wave"I said laughing
"Seriously"
"Some winters. Some it only got like -10 degrees"
"That's still cold"
"Not really. You get used to it"I said getting out of his car. Yeah he would be a good boyfriend but not for me. But he would be a good guy friend. I got in my car and left. When I got home my parents were standing in the kitchen with their arms a crossed
"Yes I learned my lesson" I said setting my bag on the table
"Jess can I talk to you for a second"my dad asked"
"Yeah"I've always been a daddy's girl. I love my mom but she's always working and never with me but it's Saturday and she has today off. I walked up to my room and sat on the edge of my bed and my dad sat at my desk
"So have you talked to Emmett lately" he asked me. Emmett is my big brother. He's 19 and my best friend
"Yeah he's coming home soon"he's been at college and my life is so slow
"Well I'm going to take the extra room down stairs and make that his room for when he comes to stay"
"Awesome. I miss him and we need to play some hockey when he gets here"
"Well good luck finding a rink"
"Well go make supper I'm going to watch a Wild game on my phone"I told him. the Wild is Minnesota's pro hockey team, but my favorite team is UMD. It's in Duluth Minnesota and it's college and I would always go to a game if I got a chance. I want to go to college there. And play hockey for the girls team.
