Being Bad
Jayde...
Josh’s P.O.V.
Oh my god, she just grilled your ass,” Liam screamed in Ethan’s face. She was really sassy, but it suited her well. She is so gorgeous, even more gorgeous than… Josh stop… don’t think about her. Not now at least. Every time she crossed my mind, the thought of killing Demetri grew stronger… but I shook it off.
Jayde’s been gone for 10 minutes… the corner store is right at the end of the alley. She should have been back already. I got up and head towards the door.
“Aye mate, where you going?” Max asked.
“I just gotta check something real quick,” I said before walking towards the door.
I opened the door to see Jayde on the ground. Her right temple was bleeding and she was really pale. I checked her for a pulse. Why do the ones I like always have to get hurt.
“GUYS HELP ME!!!” I screamed. I looked up to see a tired looking girl standing next to me.
“Jayde…” she barely whispered. She dropped to her knees.
“HARRY, BABY COME QUICK… HELP US…”she said through sobs.
Everybody came rushing outside. That’s when I saw Niall near tears.
“MOVE!!!” he screamed… pushing everyone out of the way. I got up so that he could sit next to her.
“Jayde, you have to wake up…” he said.
No response.
“Come on baby please…”
No response.
“Niall, carry her to my car…” the girl said harshly wiping her tears away as if she didn’t want anybody to see them.
“You…” she pointed at me. “Come with me… Harry, you too,” she commanded.
“Ethan, I need you to stay here and keep everything going… I will call you when we get more information…” she said with her voice cracking.
“Niall, does she have a pulse…” she asked.
“Barely,” he cried.
“Okay, quick… come on…” she motioned us three. We all hoped into the car.
“You…” she said while pointing at me again, “Front seat… Niall and Harry… back with Jayde…” she finished. She started flying down the street towards the hospital. It was about twenty minutes away.
“What’s your name,” she asked.
“Josh Roberts… you’re Tylar aren’t you?” I questioned
“Yes, I am the gang’s leader… Josh, what did you see…” she asked.
“I didn’t see anything… she left to go to the corner store, said she was buying cigarettes. After ten minutes, I realized that she had been gone for too long, so I went to look for her and when I opened the door, I was her just laying there… no one in sight…” I finished
She hit the steering wheel out of frustration, making all of us jump.
“FUCK!” she yelled.
“Babe, you need to calm down…” Harry said.
“I am fucking calm… I’m so fucking calm… I should be fucking levitating. How can I be calm when the person that is closest to my heart is dying…” she choked on her words, “…in the back seat of my car?” she finished.
“Deep breathes babe, she is gonna get through it…” he replied.
I watched as Tylar tightened her hands on the steering wheel. In less than two more minutes, we were at the emergency room.
Ty jumped out of the car and ran to the entrance with Harry following shortly behind her. I stayed in the car with Niall and Jayde. I watched in the rear-view mirror of how gentle he was with her. He was stroking her hair and whispering things in her ear as he cried silently. I could tell that he was truly in love with her. But I felt something to… and it couldn’t be ignored…
Tylar’s P.O.V.
“HELP US… PLEASE ANYBODY!!” I screamed throughout the room.
“What’s wrong sweetie?” a nurse asked.
“My friend, s-she’s past out in the car… s-she has hardly has a pulse… please go help her…” and with that the nurse called over some doctors and ran outside. Within two minutes, they rushed back in the hospital with Jayde on a stretcher. Niall and Josh were following closely behind. They moved her into a room and we tried to go in until a man stopped us.
“I’m sorry… you cannot come in until we have her in a stable condition…” he explained. This only made me mad.
“WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU MEAN, SHE NEEDS ME IN THERE…” Harry pulled at my waist.
“Please let me go… she needs me,” I cried. He turned me around and pulled me into his chest.
“Calm down baby, she will be fine…” he cooed in my ear.
I looked over at Niall to see he was sitting in a chair with his face in his hands crying. No one has cared so much about Jayde. He must really love her.
“We will be back when we get her to stable condition,” the doctor said. And with that, he walked back into the room. Harry led me to the waiting room where Niall sat. I kneeled down beside him and hugged him tightly.
“She’s gonna be ok… she is going to be fine,” I whispered to him. He returned my hug and cried into my shoulder. After a few minutes, he pulled away and thanked me. Now there was only one thing we could do… Wait…
Jayde’s P.O.V.
Where the hell am I? Everything is black, why can’t I see.
“Hey Jay,” I heard a male voice call.
I took me a while to recognize the voice… no it can’t be.
“Matt?” I questioned.
“In the flesh… well not really… Jayde, you are in between life and death…” he explained.
“What do you mean?”
“I mean… you are in a coma… but you have some really bad head injuries, you get to choose whether or not to live or die…”
“Live, I want to live…” I said.
“Well it isn’t that easy… I’ll be back in a little less than a month… then you will tell me your answer again. I missed you Jayde…” he said trailing off.
“I missed you too bro, I love you Matt…” I said quietly.
“Love you too big sis…” and with that… everything went silent, no voices, nothing…
Tylar’s P.O.V.
I started to fall asleep in Harry’s arms. I was the only one still awake. I just wanted to know how Jayde was doing. Just as I started to drift to sleep, I heard footsteps coming towards us. I quickly sprang up and woke the guys. The same doctor came out and I stood up to face him.
“Ok, we have some good news, and some bad news…” he said.
“O-Ok, what’s the good news…” I asked quietly.
“We have her in stable condition…” he said.
“Oh my god, YES!” I screamed running to Harry and hugging him tightly.
“Wait, what’s the bad news?” Niall questioned.
“She is in a coma,” he finished calmly.
“Well, when do you think she will be up?” I asked.
“We don’t know… that is for her to decide…” he added.
“Are you certain that she will make it,” I asked.
“There is about a 60 to 40 chance… but she most likely will be fine…” he concluded.
“Ok. Can we see her?” Josh asked. That was the first time he spoke tonight.
“Yes, come in…” he replied.
And there she was, lying in the hospital bed… she looked so at peace. We all surrounded her bed and talked to her. It felt normal. We all eventually fell asleep, leaving the room in complete silence.
