Being Bad
Down to Business
“First thing to do… I’m assigning new roles in this gang. Liam, your or defense line… all information on gang wars and fight will go through you before anyone. You’re the muscle of the group. Niall, you are the gang’s drug dealer. You mentioned being sneaky, so that puts you in a good position for it. Harry, you will be our negotiator… when we go to private meetings, you, Jayde and I will be present. In all other meetings, the whole crew will be there. And Ethan, you’re the brains, when we come up with any idea to attack, invade or fight… I need you to break it down for flaws. You will be coming up with most of the ideas,” I paused. “You guy got it so far?” I asked. They all nodded.
“As for Jayde and I, we will be leading in defensive combat and special skills, this meaning that you will be learning how to do something besides fighting with your fist. As you may have already noticed,” I smirked, “I am trained in throwing knives and skilled in combat and kick-boxing. Jayde is skilled in combat and anything that has to do with armed weaponry…” she nodded. “So once a week, we will get together and work on a new skill to make our gang more intimidating,” I saw Harry roll his eyes.
“Is there a problem Styles?” I questioned.
“You do know people have shit to take care of outside of this gang, right?” I asked rhetorically.
“I am pretty damn sure that one hour from one day of the week, is not going to affect your life, so save the attitude Styles,” I replied. He rolled his eyes and turned away from me.
“Next rule, you must carry a weapon at all times… you never know what can happen and I need every single one of you… more or less…” I joked. Everyone smiled except for Harry. He just sat there looking at the wall. Oh god, he’s getting on my nerves.
“For example, I carry three throwing knives in a hoister on my jeans, and brass knuckles with a pocket knife attachment… Jayde holds a pistol with a ballistic knife attachment. If you don’t have weapons, stop by Ric’s house and I’ll give one to you. He left all his weapons to Ethan and I, so if you every need something, ask…”
“Last rule… if I catch you with someone from the rival gang without my permission, I will assume you are giving information and kill you and that person on spot, no warnings, no second chances. You must ask me if you can talk to the person, tell me where you will be, and tell me how long the conversation will be. No relationships with people in the rival gang… these are the people who killed my father, so I want no casual talk with them… only about business… Is that clear?” I asked. Everyone nodded.
“Oh, one more thing… give me your phones…” there was slight hesitation, but Liam and Niall handed theirs over. I stuck my hand out towards Harry. He didn’t hand it to me so I snatched it out of his hands.
“Hey, you can’t take that… there is a thing called privacy,” he complained.
“First of all, I don’t care about what on your phone… and second off all, if you are worried about ‘privacy’, I would suggest picking a better password than 2705…” he looked pale.
“How the hell did you know that,” everyone look towards me.
“I’m not an idiot…” I said while turning to Jayde. Truth is I saw him putting it in earlier… sneaky me.
“The reason why I am taking your phones is so Ethan can put your tracking devices in them-“ I was cut off.
“TRACKING DEVICE, WHAT THE HELL…” Harry screamed.
“Calm down curly, the reason I am putting it in there is so I know you won’t try to leave the state, as soon as your phone crosses any of the state borders, my phone will get a message telling me exactly where you are. You are not allowed to leave the state unless I know. I can’t have members fleeing when things get bad. Is that ok with everyone?” everyone nodded.
“Ok, that’s about it, tonight at eight o’clock, we have a meeting with the rival gang, private only… so Harry, meet me and Jayde here at seven-thirty so we can talk about some things, or you could just stay here… got it?” I asked.
“Yep,” he said popping the ‘p’.
“Ok, your phones should be done in like, thirty minutes, so just chill until they are… then you are dismissed. Wait until everyone’s phone is finished though. I’m going to go call Demetri about tonight,” I said sternly while grabbing my phone and walking away. I am going to kill Demetri. He killed my father, he had to pay…
Jayde’s P.O.V.
I’ve been talking to this Niall kid for about five minutes, and he has already managed to make me laugh. I usually never let people in so quickly, especially since my brother died. I was devastated when he was murdered, by my ‘best friend’. The guy who killed him was called Jake. He was my first real friend besides Tylar. We talked every day, hung out at his house, and we went on a couple of dates… but it was nothing serious. I remember the day when it happened… he came to my house banging on my door. I’m so stupid… why did I have to open the fucking door…
I was pulled out of my thought when I saw Niall touching the hem of my shirt.
“Hey, didn’t your mom ever tell you to keep your hands to yourself,” I said tugging my shirt away from him while smiling.
“She also told me if I see something I want, then take it…” he smirked.
“First of all stop flirting with me…” I paused to see him blushing. “Second of all, what kind of mother tells her son that… that leads you to stealing stuff…” I said.
“Well… stealing stuff isn’t that big of a deal when you’re selling drugs… or in a gang,” he finishes.
“Touché…” I admit.
“That shirt looks nice on you…” he says causing me too blush.
“Thank you,” I reply.
“You know what else would look nice on you…” he questioned.
“No… what?” I asked raising an eyebrow.
“Me,” he said with a smirk on his face. I guess I should’ve seen that one coming. At least he is cute when he flirts.
“Ew, you ass,” I said slapping his arm.
“Oww. Man Ty wasn’t kidding when she said you trained in combat…” he said.
“Why would she be kidding…?” I questioned.
“Well you look so innocent, not really the type to be in a gang…” he finished.
Oh my god, why does everyone assume I’m so innocent… yeah I’m still a virgin but I am nowhere near innocent. I decided to show him how ‘innocent’ I could be. I grabbed his collar and pulled it towards me so our faces were inches away from each other.
“I am nowhere near innocent…” I said quietly as I moved closer to his lips. He started leaning in. Our lips were centimeters away from each others. Then I pulled away.
“But I’m not a slut…” I said before turning my head back to the T.V.
“Aww, you’re such a tease…” he said while smiling.
“I know…” I admitted.
“Meet me at Ric’s old ware house, I’ll have two along with me…” I heard Tylar on the phone.
“Eight o’clock. Fine, no weapons…” then she hung up.
“Harry, Jayde, we have thirty minutes until we have to be at the ware house, come on,” she motioned Harry and I.
I got up, but before I could move, Niall grabbed my hand, pulled me into his chest, and kissed me. The kiss was full of lust and desperation. I kissed back and licked the bottom of my lips, begging for entrance. I obliged.
“Look at Niall, getting’ it in,” I heard Liam say. I pulled away and walked towards the door.
“Liam you dick…” Niall threw something at him.
“You’re acting like you guys were going to have sex right on that spot, it would have stopped even without me interrupting,” Liam replies. I start laughing before walking up to Tylar.
“Who’s gonna be there?” I asked.
“Demetri, Ace, and Carter,” she spoke. I could tell she was still upset about her dad passing, I felt the same way when Matt died. I know she wanted to cry, but Tylar thinks she is too cool for tears. I haven’t seen her cry once in about five years… it’s kinda scary to be honest.
“Ok, let’s go…” I motioned Harry towards us. He looked neutral with the situation. He just looked like he didn’t give a fuck about anyone. Maybe it was an act.
