BROKEN
Chapter 3- Awkward Part 1
ALEXANDRA POV
I could feel my cheeks beginning to blush as I glared down at the mess we created. How could I have been so clumsy?
I decided to shift my eyes away from the disaster, only to see an Irish boy looking down at me. I took in a deep breath and shrugged. What else was I supposed to do? I wasn’t even sure what to say, but I knew I had to say something.
We both locked eyes and he had this annoying grin plastered on his face. I mean, there was nothing comical about this situation so why would he be smiling? But whatever, it’s not like I will see this guy ever again. I’ll just buy him a new pizza and he’ll continue his way out the door. Wow, maybe I really was thinking this was a bigger deal than it actually was.
It was embarrassing no doubt, but we both will just end up going our separate ways and everyone here will forget this whole thing occurred by tomorrow. Stop worrying.
Although, It’s hard not to worry when you realize how many eyes caught a glimpse of what had happened. I obviously knew people had been staring but as I scanned the room, four snickering boys had come to my attention.
From the looks on their faces, they must’ve video taped everything. Their eyes were practically glued to the screen of one of their cellphones and in addition, I could even hear them cracking jokes about my unforgettable entrance. In all honesty, I really didn’t think any of this was funny at all.
Get over it. Boys will always be immature.
I snapped back to reality and knew it was time for an apology.
“ I am so sorry. Let me buy you another pizza, that’s seriously the least I can do!”
“ Its fine love, you don’t need to pay for anything. I can quickly just order a new one.” He reassured me.
“Are you sure? Because I can-”
“ Don’t worry about it! Here lets go get some food! That’s what we came here for!”
My stomach grumbled when he said those last few words and it made me realize I hadn’t eaten yet. Sam’s shift didn’t end for another ten minutes anyways and even though I was here to see her, my mouth was watering for peperoni pizza.
My favorite.
As we waited in line, I found out his name was Niall. We talked for quite a bit and just joked around. Boy, he was really funny. Once we finished ordering, he led me to a table.
Not just any table, the table where those obnoxious boys were sitting at. Oh great, so those were his friends.
“ Nialler, is this the fan who tackled you over there?” the curly headed boy asked while he pointed to the clearly visible mess still on the ground. Him and the other boys burst into a fit of laughter. Fan? A fan of what?
